A Shameful Day for West Ham. We should follow Tottenham's lead.

In my match report on the game on Saturday (Same old Same old) I wrote that there was nothing to be ashamed of in the defeat; but I was wrong. At the time I was unaware of the extent of the abuse directed at John Terry and Frank Lampard during the game by morons who claim to be football fans. Tottenham fans who directed racial hatred towards Sol Campbell were rightfully shamed and have now been banned from future games, and I believe strongly that West Ham should now take the moral high ground and get rid of the scum who were directing hatred towards two fantastic England professionals on Saturday.

I know that we will hear the, "They are scum, they betrayed West Ham nonsense" but let's get a couple of things clear. John Terry left aged fourteen. How can these morons persecute a guy for a decision he made around about the time he was growing a full patch of pubic hair? As for Lampard, the club sacked his dad and uncle; how in God's name could he remain after that? Is it any wonder he holds a grudge? My Dad was sacked from a job once and every time we passed the company concerned in the car, we wound down the windows and spat. It was a natural response - you stick up for your Dad! How long had Frank Senior been a loyal servant of West Ham, only for the club to push him and 'Arry out of the door?

Of course, the spite is engendered purely by envy. Lampard and Terry have gone on to greatness and that rankles with the stupid amongst our fan base. These guys didn't do a Sol Campbell to us, they didn't walk out on Bosmans after the club had given them their big break. I well remember West Ham fans asserting that Chelsea had been stitched up when they paid £11million for Lampard - according to many, he was only picked because of nepotism anyway!

It is now time for the club to make a stand. There will be video evidence identifying the seat numbers of many of these morons - and in most cases they will be season ticket holders. There is a lot said about making football family friendly and this is a fantastic opportunity to take a lead. Name and shame the morons, ban them from the ground and make clear that hatred of this type has no place in football.

I find the image depicted above embarrassing and shameful. I love football and am a passionate fan of West Ham and England. The morons who understand the game as a vehicle for hatred are a cancer in the game and in society as a whole. Zola should demand that that cancer is surgically removed from our fan base, once and for all!

I think Terry was having the pish ripped because his Mum and Aunt were cautioned for shoplifting, not because he left us as at schoolboy age.

As for Lampard, he never wastes any time moaning about his treatment at the hands of West Ham fans. He'll be phoning in talk radio soon to moan on that...oh yeah, he's done that too

Hammersfan said...

And he was right to tell that DJ what a twat he is. As for the fans "ripping" Terry over the actions of his mother and aunt, perhaps those fans should remember that both are West Ham fans. Tottenham fans call us "pikeys" and John's relatives kind of prove the point don't they? Was it clever to flaunt the fact on Saturday in front of the World's media? I can hear the Tottenham fans now, "Not just pikeys but stupid pikeys"! (NB I have only used the term pikey in the context of Tottenham's jibes at us. I recognise the term is racist and would not use it myself.)

In schools, silly kids say "Your Mum" to bully others. In the Bible it tells us not to visit the sins of the father upon the son. What John Terry's mum does is beyond his control. You and I know, anyway, that the abuse went a long way beyond this. Zola would not be apologising because of banter like that!

Terrys mum stole from tesco and admited that in a police caution.
She is a common theif no matter who she supports.
terrys mum is a theif end of theiving scumbag when she has all the money in the world to pay and god almighty it was from tesco she could have stolen from Waitrose

I sit in BML,,,and to be honest it wasn't that bad,,,the abuse directed at these players was no worse than the stick we give lots of players,,,,,However, I liked the way terry responded, by ironically clapping us at the end of the match,,,and his comments were fair enough, the press sort of expanded them

Anonymous said...

Just go away and support spurs you arsehole. Always wanna slag us or the team down who needs pathetic fans like you anyway. Terrys mum is a theif and lampard let his kids down by not being there for them. Both true facts

From KUMB earlier today:England and Chelsea captain John Terry: fact file

2001: The drunken Terry, Frank Lampard plus team mates Eidur Gudjohnsen and Jody Morris upset American tourists the day after 9/11 by mocking them with 'insensitive and inflammatory remarks' before stripping and vomiting in front of the shocked onlookers. Terry is fined a massive £130,000 by Chelsea as a result.

2002: Terry spends a night in jail after a doorman is left injured following a 1am fight. He is later cleared of charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, unlawful wounding, possessing a bottle as an offensive weapon and affray.

2004: Stories emerge of Terry's massive gambling habit. Accused of causing a rift in the England camp as a result.

2005: Terry accused of cheating on his wife to be 'seven times in eight years'. He promises never to do it again.

2005: Terry accused of a liaison with a 'busty teenager' just two months after promising never to do it again.

2006: Terry accused of making comments of a racist nature towards a fellow England player after being sent off in Chelsea's 2-1 defeat by Tottenham.

2006: Referred to by the Daily Mail as a 'defender with a reputation for gambling, drinking and womanising'.

2008: An 'arrogant' Terry photographed parking his Bentley in a disabled parking space (where it remained for two hours).

LOL 1639 - perhaps Waitrose wouldn't let her in. On the other hand, it may have been an antisemitic act - Tesco was originally a Jewish company. You see, no problem with humour and banter, my issue is with hatred.

Compared to other years, the abuse aimed at Lampard was half hearted. It could have been avoided but it wasn't. I certainly think that it should stop now, its gone on too many years.

As for Terry, his mother stole from M & S. Get over it JT. Had she not have stolen, then the fans would have had nothing to chant about.

Look on KUMB website and see the trouble that JT has been in over the years. Locked up overnight, playing away numerous times when married and so on.

Perhaps if the Terry family acted as upstanding citizens, then they wouldn't attract the nasty chants. I don't like them but I am afraid that in Terry's case, he and his family have brought them upon themselves.

hammersfan, i look at the titles of all your articles in the blog archive, and unfortunatley it sums you up... moron!... your posts are truly dreadful, constantly backing other teams, being pesimistic...grow a pair man!!...this abuse will happen week in week out at every ground up and down the country, and its pure banter which has been going on for decades.... the second we lose that the game and atmosphere dies... what next??... will we not be able to chant at oppostion fans??... stick with your prawn sandwiches mate, take a reality check and quit being a do gooder... no ones died, no ones insulting the dead etc etc... its all done in pure jest... deal with it!

Anonymous said...

What makes me laugh in all this is that we are being slaughtered in the newspapers, how did we come to hear about Terry's mum & Lampard supposedly deserting his kids...oh yea in the newspapers...they even took advantage of Lampards mrs carrying out an interview when she was pissed

Still they do a great job & west Ham supporters are scum

Hammersfan said...

Lee, I have been with away fans when the banter has been really witty. That is absolutely fine. At one point on Saturday, Lampard went to take a corner and a fan walked down about ten rows to personally abuse him. It is pure cowardice because the guy knows that Lampard can't turn round and thump him. Instead, the individual should be identified and banned from the ground. Simple. The stewards need to do their job better, then we can put an end to the vicious stuff and give a platform to the comics that used to populate the terraces.

I sit in the Centenary Lower by the corner flag and here are the songs that have caused so much trouble:

"John Terry, your mum's a thief"

"She'll be running round Tesco's with her shopping in her coat"

As anonymous above quite rightly points out, the fact that you didn't notice the chants (as you say in your article) means that you were either not at the game or you couldn't hear the chants (which hardly makes them loud).

With all due respect, the author of this site constantly bigs up all of Spurs, Chelsea, Lampard and Terry...and I've said it before - are you actually a westt ham fan?

Compare those songs to the sickening racist chants that the Spurs fans sing to Campbell. I wont write it all, but a song that includes a "Judas c**t with HIV hanging from a tree" is vile, and hatefilled. Songs like that deserve lifetime bans.

The songs that we were singing we just pure banter and unfortunately, true! What does he expect at a football game if his mum is convicted of thieving from Tesco?

It's not as if thousands upon thousands of fans were singing about the death of Lampards mother was it? Nope

Of course the papers will pick up on it, they love a sob story. But read what KUMB has put about the author of the article in The Sun - enlightening to say the least.

http://www.kumb.com/story.php?id=124173

For the record, as you wasn't at the game yet still find yourself on a high horse, here are some of the other songs we sang on Saturday

"World Cup, we won the f***ing World Cup"

"Toto, we won the Inter-toto"

"Same old West Ham taking the piss"

Would you like some more insights into the chants on Saturday?

Find me a published, printed, newspaper article that actually has written the chants we were singing about Terry...as far as I know there are NONE. That's because the chants were actually not that bad, not hatefilled, not racist, not violent, not sickening like some of the songs sung at the Lane when Campbell comes to town.

So to the author of this site, before you start accusing "morons" and "cancers" how about you do a little bit of research. Yes, there will always be a mindless minority who mumble a genuinely nasty song, or try to get one started but from where I sit, those songs never go further than a few seats in each direction....because West Ham fans are NOT morons and NOT cancers.

Sort this site out and take your Spurs shirt off for the next article.

And with regard to Frank Lampard? Freddy Freddy, I wasn't at the game but I don't claim to have been. What gets my goat is the way our own fans actually motivate the opposition. We greeted Tevez as a returning hero and he went missing from the game; we lay into Lampard and he plays a blinder every time!

The people following me, thanks for the support of my comment.

Hammersfan, i tell you what why don't you clap and cheer Lampard on during next season's game and see how that goes down.

You cannot compare Lampard to Tevez, so please don't.

Lampard has mouthed us off constanly in the press - even, if i remember correctly, saying that he hopes he scores the goal that sent us down (the year we got relegated). Anyone who said that about West Ham would get stick, irrelevant of their past. Actually, the fact that we were responsible for bringing him through the academy makes what he says a whole lot worse.

By laying into your own the way you have hammersfan you need to have been at the game otherwise you cannot justify any of your wild, sweeping comments.

Let's give the pair of them a heroes welcome next year...warm applause all round for being such wonderful role models to children and parents all over the country.

CelticHammer said...

Hammersfan I do not agree with the words used to slag lampard off but I am more than happy to boo myself hoarse everytime he sets foot on a pitch. The fans didnt sack his old man and his uncle, Terry Brown did. He hasnt had a go at Terry Brown he had ago at us fans. I met Lamps in a nightclub in Dublin about 10years ago when he was still at WestHam, it was a cup weekend and we had naturally gone out to lower league oppositon and a few of the team had decided to have a weekend in Dublin. I met him, Rio, PDC, Razor, Trickey and a few others. I chatted to Lamps and Rio for a bit and they joked how I was the first Hammers fan they had met since arriving. I have to say the both came across as nice lads, we are all about the same age as well and they introduced me to DiCanio which to this day is still one of the highlights of my life. The club itself was in the basement of the Burlington Hotel where they were staying and when we were leaving, which was a good hour after everyone else they said that why didnt myself my mate and our then girlfriend (in his case his now wife, in my case a short lived fling with a stunner who was madder than a box of frogs) head into the hotel reception to wait for a cab coz it was tipping it down outside. We had hardly got through the front door when Razor was organising a load of booze from reception for a card game in his room but Rio and Frank werent interested so they ordered a couple of sandwiches from roomservice and then sat in armchairs in the lobby. We chatted a bit more while we waited for our cabs and both of them talked about WestHam, Rio mentioned his younger brother was now at the club and Frank talked about how his whole family were Hammers through and through. I told them about my dad being a season ticket holder in the 70s and about my trips to watch them play, Frank was impressed that I went to a lot of trouble to see games and when I asked for their autograph he went and found a few of the other lads who had gone through to the residence bar and had them sign some napkins. They are framed and hang in pride of place in my old room in my parents house along with every other piece of WestHam memorabilia I own, each signed napkin, there are 5 in all surrounds a picture of me holding up my WestHam scarf outside the ground on my very first trip as a 7year old.
When we were leaving I thanked them both of them and told them I was looking forward to getting over to watch a match soon. They both shook my hand and thanked me for being a fan and I walked out of the hotel almost in a daze I was so happy, I reckon my girlfriend could have stripped naked in the hotel carpark and I wouldnt have noticed.
When Harry and Frank Sr were fired I was livid,I posted Terry Browns fax number on the internet and I sent him an offer that if Glenn Roder got the club into Europe via the league then I would work for the club in any capacity for free for a whole year, I even plagued Paul Stewart who was in the press office to make sure Terry got the fax. Needless to say he never took me up on the offer. When Frank jr left I was gutted but completely backed his reasons for leaving, I didnt even begrudge him a move to Chelsea but when he started having a go in the press at the fans that was too much for me. He showed a trait shared by his uncle when it comes to sticking the knife into people. If I knew that he was going to stand in front of the Bobby Moore stand, a stand built to honour the greatest in a long list of WestHam legends and kiss a chelski badge that night I met him in Dublin I would have dropped him for it. The fans didnt betray his dad, the fans didnt force him out and the fans damn sure didnt make him kiss a cheslea badge. He is a classless crass individual and the only reason I would not join in the type of chant aimed at him on Saturday is that I am better than that. I am a bigger man than Frank Lampard, in more ways than one!
As for John Terry I couldnt give a toss, I only ever mention him as a being a product of our academy to wind up chelsea fans or increase the number of current england squad members who owe their footballing education to WestHam. Lampard sits on a list of Paul Ince and Jermaine Defoe as people who will hear my booing till my dying breath. Its a short list this list of mine, its only got the 3 of them and spurs fans on it everyone else in the world is pretty much ok by me, I dont even put Harry on that list because I think the guy is a buffoon and secretly I think he will become an even bigger Hammers favourite when he destroys spurs from the inside out but Frank Lampard can rot in hell as far as I am concerned

freddyfreddy said...

Did I call you an ignorant tw*t hammersfan?

zola didn't call his own fans cancerous though hammersfan.

Lampard never seperated from his wife hammersfan...he wasn't married to her. More importantly though, do you recall seeing the photos of lampard out with a model a week or so after the split?

Maybe some of the fans who were singing have shoplifted, i don't know as I'm not one of them. But I doubt those fans are the ones earning in excess of £100K a WEEK in the middle of a RECESSION.

That however, is completely besides the point

If Lampard does come out with comments like that though, do you honestly not expect fans to react? Do you not expect some kind of backlash...when he kisses the badge (as CelticHammer brilliantly describes)in front of the BML what do you expect...

...like I say, how about you stand in there with those fans and clap and cheer him.

Anon1827 kind of sums up the level of the debate on the terraces these days doesn't he? Celtic, you seem to have forgotten how Lampard was a target for the boo boys WHILST he was at the club - all those allegations of nepotism. You can't separate the fans and the club mate. He wanted to see Brown and Roeder and everybody else who betrayed his dad and uncle pay the price. And so would I in his shoes and so would you and so would everybody else. Family comes first.

Your Dad is a real bit of class spitting at his old office like El Hadj Diouf. Class act. If you had your way Chelsea boy, there would be no singing at games at all. All it was was banter, which in fact Lampard took very well. Crossing the line is if his mother was brought into the equation, and she was not.

Hammersfan said...

I refer you back to my quote. I don't see the name Freddy Freddy in there do you?

freddyfreddy said...

No I don't think that football should be a vehicle for hatred - but I refer you back to a comment I made earlier...songs about a "Judas c**t with HIV hanging from a tree" demonstrate genuine hatred.

What was sung by West Ham fans at the weekend was not hate feulled, not inciting violence, nor was it racist or vile...it was simply a bit of stick shown towards players.

People have said the chelski fans were laughing. The police were smirking.

We didn't even swear in the songs for goodness sake!

There were NO songs about the death of Lampards mother, which I understand would have completely crossed the line and don't for a second think I am defending racism or hatred because I am not.

I am just saying that in this example, there was NO racism and NO hatred, just standard football terrace banter. It hasn't changed for years and years.

Your article makes West Ham fans out to be pigs and defends Terry and Lampard. You suggest that West Ham deal with individuals in the same way Spurs dealt with homophobic, violent, hate filled racists.

Yet you was not at the game to make a correct judgement.

I say it again, you stand on the terrace and clap, cheer and congratulate Lampard at the next West Ham Chelsea game and judge for yourself how it goes down. The things lampard has said since his departure have just been a crowbar to an already faultering relationship. Honestly, did he expect a comment like "I hope I score the goal that sends West Ham down" to go unnoticed?

You have to be pretty stupid to come out with a comment like that, knowing full well the trouble it could cause.

Seb said...

I don't see how you can possibly call Terry and Lampard "fantastic England professionals"- it shows that you don't actually know their history or haven't researched this subject properly, Bobby Moore fits that description not those two. The talent is undoubted, the professionalism questionable at best!

As for the "they left nonsense" as you so nonchalantly describe it, the main reason for the hatred of Lampard is basically reciprocation of his own hatred of west ham- as exemplified in recent literature, even Rio dislikes him for it! As for the 'they sacked my dad so I've got the hump' argument, whatever and fair play to him if it fuels his hatred of our club but as a result he needs to expect the passion to be unleashed in return whenever he plays the Irons.

Jealousy?? Of course who wouldn't be of someone getting filthy rich playing footie. Is this the reason for the chanting- no, its payback for everything Lamps has done since leaving west ham.

As for your comments on the ICF flag, don't be so naive and have a read about it- might teach you something about the great club you claim to support. I not going to insult you as above but the fact that this blog riles the fans it is supposed to be for says it all, why don't you give it a rest and let KUMB and Iain Dale run the proper stuff....???

Hammersfan said...

Freddy, there's a big gap between clapping and cheering the guy and directing bile at him all game as I'm sure you realise. It was the anniversary of the death of his mother, he had responded in a very human way to the misguided abuse of that DJ and we could and should have let bygones be bygones. It was a long time ago that Lampard made his comments and a lot of abuse has passed over the Bridge since. Enough is enough.

Seb, not sure what you are saying about the ICF flag, perhaps you had better spell it out. I object to those letters and what they represent being on a flag that represents my country.

As for your comparison with Moore, you obviously nee to brush up on your history. In 1966, he tried to defect to Spurs. It ws only when it was pointed out to him that he couldn't play in the World Cup if he was not under contract to a club, and Greenwood refused to sanction a move to Spurs, that he reluctantly committed himself to West Ham. Moore liked his booze and associated with some very dubious characters - that's why there was no place for him in the FA after he retired, and it is also why he died a relatively poor man. Of course, his marital reord was not great. Remember the Blackpool affair? I do. Remember Bogota? Astle allegedly had the bracelet but Moore was with him and allegedly "took the fall" as there was no incriminating evidence on him. I adore Moore but there were games for West Ham where he was obviously not giving 100%, for whatever reason. Contrast that with Lampard who runs through walls for Chelsea every time he takes to the field. His appearance record is phenominal n the context of the modern game and the way he has developed from the raw player we saw at West Ham to the wonderful midfield player he now is, speaks volumes to me for hi professionalism.

Hammersfan said...

You are shockingly in love with Chelsea, I can't believe it.

I am speechless.

Lampard this, lampard that, chelsea this, chelsea that. Oh Lampard I love you so much, you are doing a wonderful job, keep it up.

What I was referring to in relation to the ICF was that it is now a part of our club's history though the rights and wrongs are a whole other discussion (my opinion is every club had a hooligan element, ours was the best though dont think I say that for any other reason than stating fact)- the books surrounding the hooligan 'era' make for very interesting reading, have a look.

In terms of your embellishment of Moore's exploits as a person, it was possibly a poor example as the players of Moore's era didn't have the same high standards expected of today's so-called pros. You refer to a lot about his personal life- players weren't under scrutiny then as they now and a lot more was considered acceptable for footie pros then I think you will agree?! John Terry pissing against a bar, being openly racist and a thug is not the example to be set by a 21st century England Captain do you not think? Beckham would probably have been a better example as a contemporary player and role model pro. Does Lamps run through walls for England which is what you referred to in your article? No!

I'm glad you put this thread up Scotty as I would have sent you something myself if I had had time.
I have to say that I think the beer bellied buddah's of the Boleyn calling out six pack Frank for being "fat" has serious comedy potential!
What I do find sad is that when we beat Sunderland to go seventh with goals scored by two of our academy graduates, the singing was pathetic. Yet when Frank comes back the crowd finds it's voice with words that only serve to spur him on and embarrass decent people.
We are very proud to tell everyone what we have given to English football, but it would be worth remembering that part of that legacy is also the Intellectually Challenged Fuckwits (ICF) and Nazi saluting morons. I know other club's have their hooligan element but I am old fashioned enough to hope that my team can rise above that.

Hammersfan said...

Seb, I think Lampard plays to order when he wears an England shirt. The problem is, he Rooney, Rooney and Gerrard all naturally want to make the same runs, go into the same areas. Watch him under Capello and you will see that is Lampard who has adjusted his game to fit the needs of the team. He holds much more now, taking care not to allow us to become overstretched.

Freddy, your comments are a little cheap mate. Lampard was still a kid when he was at West Ham and received unfair stick because of the nepotism suspicions. He has matured into a brilliant player. Hiddinck knows a good player when he sees one and, as he said, he could aford to rest others, but not Lampard! I am proud of the lad personally. He is a product of the Academy.

You should read some of the literature surrounding the ICF 'el martillo' before you start to tar them all with your own laughable idioms, Im not quite sure what this blog aims to be when those involved throw insults around like the 'morons' they profess to despise.

el Martillo said...

Seb; I don't "profess" to despise Nazi saluting morons; I do despise them. As for the ICF; violence is the refuge of the intellectually compromised.

Seb said...

But why are they Nazi saluting morons? You are quite right some probably were, and there are some probably still knocking around the Boleyn nothing to do with the ICF- that has nothing to do with calling JTs mum a thief though does it? Or Lamps a tad portly? Are all Spurs fans singing racist songs about Sol Campbell also Nazis?

Sorry but I think the 'Terry's mother incident' is absolutely hilarious and the Irons fans chanting was very funny. The irony of it all is fantastic, hes so rich and yet his mum robs off Tescos! I personally find some of Lampard's behaviour towards West Ham fans to be pretty poor. For the record, I don't think that his dad getting sacked is a good enough reason to want a transfer. I thought it was a pretty poor excuse actually. I admire Lampard for going on the radio and bollocking that idiot DJ. However, the timing proved to be a bit 'unfortunate' for him as we were playing Chelsea the very next day. I have little sympathy for Junior but I find all the abuse he receives to be out of order but only because of what his Dad did for the club for all those years. I would ignore the media hype too, they love a story like that. Storm in a teacup!

Hammersfan, i personally think that you should stop defending lampard and terry as you were not at the game.

i find it extremly difficult to understand how you can report on the game without hearing any of the chants for yourself, which really were not as bad as everyone portrays. You have obviously taken the word of the spiteful view of the media, most of which are Chelsea fans (Ian McGarry,The Sun)

I have a season ticket in the east stand chicken run and have eye to eye contact with the away fans, and not a game goes by without the continuous and humerous banter that goes on, especially at london derbys, which sometimes can get a bit messy and out of hand, however that comes hand in hand with british football history so you should stp bloody moaning about it and deal with it.

obviously i dont expect you to understand due to your obvious lack of attendance to the mighty irons games, whislt again refuse to believe you are a true west ham fan due to your praise of our closest rivals (along with Millwall) spurs, you grow to fuckin hate them growing up supporting west ham and living in the tough east end, and you cant seriously beleieve we should follow that scum by example, i am quite insulted by that remark and you should be embarresed to call yourself a west ham fan.

furthermore at the game to you think that it is acceptable on some of the chelsea fans front to completely ignore the minutes applause for the recently deceased Jimmy Neighbour, which is supposedly nothing compared to our banter aimed at lampard, the man that constantly decides to insult the west ham fans.

i joined in with the chants he deserves it after the hassle he has out us through, and at the end of the day it is banter, and if pricks like you hammersfan were in charge fotball would be dead and buried.

el martillo said...

Seb:I didn't say that the recent abuse of Lampard had anything to do with past misdemeanours. What I said was that in light of previous behaviour by our fans we should perhaps try to behave with a little more humanity and humility. The John Terry stuff I thought was perhaps acceptable banter; the Lampard abuse was unacceptable.

Hammersfantillo did you attend the game on Saturday?

Hammersfan said...

The Nazi off shoot discussion is interesting. Stop and think guys. This is my blog and I am the administrator. I could delete any reply I do not agree with but I don't, because I respect your right to an opinion. It seems, however, that the majority who have replied here believe that EVERYBODY must share the same opinion or they can't be West Ham fans. Dear God, what is that if not a perfect expression of fascism? You don't think like me so you're not one of us! There are alternative view points to your own guys, different shades of opinion and totally contrary points of view. This post and this blog has given you the opportunity to air the other side. Think about it!

20:46, I do not give responses to anyone who does not have a name, let alone someone who belittles mine. How can I have any worthwhile intercourse with someone without the courage to identify themselves? It's like wanking with your left hand and pretending you're being pleasured; delusional and ultimately unsatisfying.

Anonymous said...

You do not give responses, what the hell is that? As for wanking with your left hand perhaps you should ask Fanny if you can swap! Obviously unlike myself you didn't attend the game on Saturday so as usual your comments are based upon you watching the game all alone no doubt. Making notes with one hand while jerking yourself off with the other.

Dont worry danny boy, it is ok to wear those panties, we wont laugh!)

Hammersfantillo I normally drive to the games and don't recall arranging a date with you. But if you and your Spanish partner want a threesome I might catch the train and spare a couple of minutes to show you what real men are capable of.

Hammersfan said...

Hang on, I thought Marty and I were one in the same! No threesome surely if we just add you to the soiree? Your desperate desire for sexual action is a tad worrying mate. Think you have the wrong idea about this site. There's plenty to cater for your tastes on the net though. Try putting any of the following into a search engine: Back door; prisoner pleasures; wears the soap. Happy browsing!

Seem to recall you had the sexual frustration problems or was it your boyfriend Salty! Seem to also remember you advertising a porn site on the org?? Worked out who I am yet? Mind you seem to have made so many friends from the olden days and also seem to have made a few new ones, what a totally charming person you must be!

el Martillo said...

I've just read your article again and it raises an interesting point. We have more CCTV than the rest of europe put togethor and are the most spied upon citizens in the world, yet we fail to identify and exclude a minority who do nothing but shame our club and our country,...........why?

Anonymous said...

Hammersfantillo, nice to see you back. With a name like that are you sure about that last sentence. Bet you are glad there is no CCTV watching you and your left hand on a Saturday afternoon.

Marty, exactly. One idiot was caught on TV cameras running down ten rows to personally abuse Lampard. He should never be allowed in the ground again.

Another response but unfortunately a bit cryptic for little old me. Where's your boyfriend gone?

el martillo said...

Looks like we're schyzophrenic; or are we having two guesses for the price of one?

freddyfreddy said...

in that case el Martillo I will ask you myself - did you attend the game on Saturday?

as for you hammersfan, you have now decided that not only are the people who joined in the signing a cancer, but they are facists too.

phill66 you made an excellent point about Jimmy Neighbour

can I also chuck in a quick point, hammersfan maybe I havnt been following West ham as long as you (as you like to point out), but you can't judge the atmosphere at UP if you are not there

As it goes on Saturday the atmosphere was fantastic and we spend a lot more time singing about our club than we did Terry or Lampard.

But you wouldn't know that as you wasn't there, so fair enough. But don't try and comment on the situation based on what you have read in a bias newspaper report.

Anonymous said...

Or perhaps you are being lead down the garden path girls, not as clever as you thought you were. I know you have had plenty of fallouts Hammersfantillo but I am deeply upset that you don't remember me. Problem for you is that you have had so many that you alcohol soaked brain might have forget this little episode around the New year, now that really is your final clue.

el Martillo said...

But he will be allowed in again.........why? Because capitalism rides roughshod over ethics and pays no more than lip service to the genuine concerns of decent people.

Hammersfan said...

Freddy, you are out on a limb if you are asserting that the UP atmosphere is as charged as it used to be. I have lost count of the number of posts that I have read complaining about the loss of the 12th Man.

Reread what I said about facism. Fascists deny others the right to an opinion, which is sadly the thrust of so many replies to this post, replies that I have left up because I believe in freedom of speech.

There is another post on News Now expressing concern about what was going on, and the author was present and heard plenty that offended him. I think it is safe to say he is a Hammer. Check out "Lampard and Terry, a step too far", C'Mon Yu Irons!

Anonymous said...

What a complete dick you are Martillo. Ban him because he showed a bit of passion. I suppose if you ever did get to Upton Park you would sit there with your arms folded tutting at the rude boys around you. Wake up and get yourself into the modern world you utter moron.

Hammersfan said...

Yep Marty.

Anonymous, no, you made no impression on me at all, not because I had drunk too much but because you lack the intellectual bite to stir me. What was your handle? That might help.

freddyfreddy said...

where do you sit when you go hammersfan?

for some games it has been a bit quiet this year granted, but once again only comment on what you can. If you're not there week in week out how can you truly judge...i think that is a fair point

Hammersfan said...

It's fair up to a point Freddy. I think if you hear from loads of others how quiet it is, it is safe to accept their opinions don't you?

Well as far as I am concerned where I stand there is noise for the best part of the whole of every game...I admit that some games are quieter than others and occasionally it takes a bit to get going

I think the same can be said from the bobby moore lower from what I can gather.

The Chelsea fans were awful on saturday though - worst fans we've had at UP all season in terms of noise

Hammersfan said...

Sam, post it again mate.

I'm turning in Freddy. Good debating. Fancy submitting an article? Your passion for all things West Ham is obvious and your slant as a headline article might offer a counterpoise to some of my "negativity". Either way, have a good one! Night!

Anonymous said...

The only one to blame is Terry's mum. If she had any respect for her son she would realise an oppositions fans would jump on it and paid like everyone else does when the go Tescos. The guys a know racist, its not like anything offensive hasn't come out of his mouth.

Anonymous said...

having read through the submissions on this site i think i see why west ham fans are generally looked down on. they are quite the most bigotted and illiterate group of so called 'fans' in london. bobby moore must be turning in his grave!

all he did was come straight to the northbank take a bow then stuck his two fingers up smiled then carried on with the game. much to delight of everyone around.
good days.......

Why can't you just see it for what it is. A bit of old style common banter for the fans to get stuck in to and get on the backs of some players for crying out loud.

You left wing treehuggers should climb down off your high horse and see it for what it is. Something that has been going on since day dot so stop your moaning and hug youre tree and let the real fans who SUPPORT their team get on with it.

I had a little look round some of the other blogs and forums today and found that the general consensus of opinion amongst West Ham fans was that the treatment of Lampard was unacceptable, the opinions on the treatment of Terry was less clear cut. Most of these sites take the environmentally friendly action of excluding Anon-entities. So it appears to me that the brave souls who come on here where they can abuse the Blogmeister for allowing them to vent their vitriolic spleens, are in the minority. A minority so cowardly that they are afraid to put a name to their opinions and so ungrateful that they are allowed to do so, that they cannot for the most part do so without using abusive language. A minority which in my opinion the game could do without. Oh sorry; I forgot it's their club isn't it, the rest of us who can see beyond blind obeisance are Spuds aren't we?

Hammersfan said...

It's a difficult one Den. If I make people register, it is a pain in the backside for the genuine posters with something to say. Just jump over the moronic comments!

el Martillo said...

You're right Scotty it is a difficult one, but I'm with Den on this. When I brought it up before you mentioned free speech, but there are few places in the world with more freedom of speech than England but we still do ask the small price of identity in the form of a passport or a visa in exchange for that freedom.
I'm sure that some genuine posters would be lost if they had to register, but then again maybe even more genuine posters are lost by having to wade through the copious drivel penned by many of the Anony mouses.
You have quite rightly called for the exclusion of abusive idiots from the terraces, although I am sure that some of them do also contribute with wit and wisdom from time to time. What is the difference between excluding them and excluding the Anonomous abusers on here?
I am sure that the number of hits is higher if there is no "log in" but that surely is only of importance if attracting advertising is the aim. Of course if that is the objective then we come back to "capitalism riding roughshod over ethics and paying lip service to the genuine concerns of decent people"?

Hammersfan said...

Ouch Marty! No advertising on here as yet you will note, despite the offers. Not sure if I will go down that route. I will see.

Seems to me that there are a few issues here. As you and I have said over and over, we are not real people on here, but virtual identities. As Fanno proved, you can have a log in system and a system of banning people who get on the administrator's nerves but it won't stop that person from posting if he is determined to do so. Our Anonymous Orger can register under different identities until the cows come home, or until Di Michele scores a goal, and there's nothing I can do about it. Nev has made himself look an arse by trying to police the org!

Then there is temptation. The Anonymous orger is getting on my nerves and if I had the facility, I might be tempted to block him. But what sort of hypocrite would that make me? I don't want to go down that route. There's a different between subjecting real people to real abuse and real aggression inside a stadium and the childish insults that are thrown around here in response to the articles. Who looks stupid when an idiot comes on here and posts abuse? Inside a stadium, real people feel genuinely hurt by what is said and done.

I would suggest that you and others who dislike the Anonymous replies simply ignore them. Only read and reply to those with the courage to leave a name. Like that, you get what you want from the site and they still have the opportunity to illustrate their stupidity. Mind you, not all the Anonymous respondents are idiotic, some make very good points. Identifying by time seems a good way to engage with the anonymous posters that you want to reply to.

The other problem with the moderator system offered by this host is that I have to read and approve EVERY post before it appears. Imagine how much work that would involve!

el Martillo said...

I agree with you that there are plenty of Anons worth reading, but I suspect that as the number of intelligent named contributors increases, the more likely that people with something to say will register. I am delighted that other club's fans contribute and I think some of them will come back for more.
I am not bothered by one sad act without a life contributing purely to to be abusive, I can ignore that, but a registration system would filter the rest. I don't want to wield the blue pencil, you know that I am very averse to censorship; but I do think that standing on the cyber terraces is an experience that is enhanced by having a name for the bloke your chatting to.
My words were not intended to offend as I'm sure you know. My preferred habitat is a democratic republic, this may be a kingdom, but I have to congratulate the monarch on his benevolence.

I understand the reasons for not banning anons. I also realise that it wouldn't stop persistant people getting through but it did stop a vast swathe of morons posting 'ya mum' type stuff every day on .org. As I said at the time, when I got in from work, the org would have about 200new comments - half of which were childish drivel. The decent comments on this thread for example deserve to get a proper airing, frankly people don't have the time (or inclincation) to sift through the rubbish to find the gold nuggets. Just a thought...
