Who Will Ashton Sue?

With his retirement confirmed at long last, there are now rumours that Ashton is seeking legal redress. But who will he sue?

Wright-Phillips is obviously in the frame for what might be deemed a reckless tackle, and Chelsea are a possibility too, as Wright-Phillips' employer at the time. That strikes me as strange though because Wright-Phillips was on England duty, not Chelsea duty at the time. So the F.A. perhaps? Or McClanger for running a training session inappropriately?

Of course, everybody seems to sue West Ham these days so maybe Ashton's legal beagles will sniff out a case against ourselves. Didn't we hurry him back into action before he was ready? Hasn't our decision to change the medical team confirmed that the original bunch were not up to the job?

And who picked him and recruited that medical team? Step forward Alan Curbishley! I would love it, just love it!

Ashton's original break where the operation was botched was when Pardew was still in charge but don't let that get in the way of a good bit of spin.
