Shock Winner of Britain's Get Talent

The nation is in shock after the surprise result of Britain's Got Talent. Instead of a brilliant kid, the mediocre Scott Parker was voted Player of the Year!

Come on HF - I like your blog, but this parker thing is getting boring mate! Save the negativity for players who really deserve it - players like Upson who simply did not try this year. Now, I really will be interested to see where our laughable Captain will end up

Probably the last one until he joins Tottenham mate. This one was too good an opportunity to pass up on!

Come on mate, you lost my respect this time. But I guess you don't give a **** about if you got my respect or not.

The culture of football has changed from when Sir Trevor was playing.
The top players playing for their country can't play in the championship. The England manager will not pick them, Unlike when we had Trevor playing. It did not effect his prospects for England. Now it does, it not really Scotty's fault but just the way it is, ask David Beckham!

Not trying to jump on the bandwagon here, but Im starting to wonder ( or possibly rationalize) that this relegation thing COULD bring some benefits. I would love to see Parker stay, but that wont happen. But he did look rather average on Saturday, making the same kind of mistakes he made for us. Is it possible that the omly way we were going to be able to truly clean the mess up was via relegation? It forces us to break it down to the bare bones and start again.

Just pondering.

I will refrain from posting anything until I read something worth commenting on. Get over your obsession with Parker HF. No-one cares anymore!

Do you have "Cyprus Has Got Talent" or do you watch the British version Sav? You didn't refrain from commenting by the way.

I'd like to know how it is that Defoe, who came to us, when we poached him, to further his career then produced some amazing goals work rate etc while always making it clear that football was a career choice for him. Gets slated for wanting to stay in the premiership but Mr WestHam who was doing nothing at his previous club came to WestHam gets an England call up voted player of the year all thanks to West Ham is still such a good egg for saying he wants to stay in the premiership both gave 100%, both went down, both slapped in transfer requests one was a young player on the up the other a hasbeen given another chance and thanks to westham resurrected his career Can someone please explain this to me cos maybe I'm missing something as I'm not English

Sav told me that he wanted to reply to you but he can't do that without breaking his promise as what you have just written is totally uninteresting!

I've made that point myself Deane. In fact, Parker had an exit clause written into his contract so, technically speaking slapped in a request 10 months ahead of us going down!

Is that the best you can do?

Is that what Capello asked Parker after the Switzerland game?

Bottom line is if Parker leaves for more than we paid for him, its good business, we got four good seasons from him, and make a profit.
He is an asset at the end of the day!

When he joined we were a Prem club, when he left we were an N Power club. He has collected £13million in wages. Good value?

HF why do you always have to be so rude? SP was far better value than your snide remarks and this bog roll of blog.

Hammersfan said...

I repeat: When he joined we were a Prem club, when he left we were an N Power club. He has collected £13million in wages. Good value?

Parker is not the problem. The manager was the problem!
We was a premier club when he joined, he did nothing with any of his 2 previous clubs,
Chelski finished second in league, league cup and champions league.
He relegated Pompy and now us! To blame one player and single him out is rediculous.
Take it out on the people really responsible!

I break my silence to say that the last comment was not by me but an imposter Sav. Not that I totally disagree with what he says mind you... Well, perhaps not about the blog stuff. I wouldn't be a regular contributor if I thought that.

No surprise there Sav.
