Father Christmas has come early with the news that Rocky is out for the count and won't be turning up for the game on Saturday to deliver a Cruz missile or two. Mind you, Jason Roberts has a pretty good track record against us and will fancy his chances with Upson probably ruled out with his tweaked calf. They will be baying for Neill's blood at Ewood Park of course so the chances are that Roberts will have the opportunity to score from the spot after being wrestled to the ground in the box by Lucash.
I don't do predictions in the week of a game for fear of putting the mockers on the side but I am not filled with confidence after that dreadful performance on Monday. Still no Cole thanks to Attwell so Tristan looks like he might get a walk out. He can't be less effective than Sears I suppose but does anybody really fancy him as a Premiership striker?
Any news on Dyer?
Apparently Dyer participated in first team training all week. Maybe a cameo appearance in the dying moments. So far Tristan hasn’t impressed. - Mr Coker.
ReplyDeleteIs Collins fit yet? He started life as a striker and has a physical presence - he's not going to get in at centre back the way Tomkins is playing.
ReplyDeleteYes I would go with Collins up front. I suggested trying out Downpipe as a make shift number nine during Cole's last enforced rest but the giraffe is now at Blunderland.

ReplyDeleteIt’s a worry; innit? Put simply, if you don’t score goals you don’t win matches.
ReplyDeleteRight now, I’m hard pressed to identify anyone who might come up with the necessary goal/s for a win – Parker maybe? It’s depressing to think that the best one might hope for is a 0 – 0 draw. I hope I’m off beam because to think that we can’t beat Rovers makes me feel positively ill. mолоток
