West Ham to Sign Borgia
Sources close to the club are claiming that West Ham are pursuing Lucrezia Borgia, a controversial individual reputed "to walk on air" but with an uncompromising attitude when it comes to winning. One expert described Borgia as "single minded and fierce in the challenge".
Italian magazine "Il Football Ora" described Borgia as "il bell'assassino", the beautiful assassin, a reference to the unique combination of grace and steel.
Zola has reputedly been impressed by Borgia's intense commitment to winning. The article in "Il Football Ora" says, "Nothing stands in the way of Borgia and victory. Winning is everything."
Quite how Borgia will be used, if signed, is unclear at this stage but it is thought that Steve Clarke has identified Borgia's unique talents as ideal for any fixture with Tottenham Hotspur. "Believe you me," said Luigi Cantolini, "Borgia has the ability to kill Tottenham off just like that. Never mind what happened in May 2006, Tottenham will have seen nothing yet should the Hammers capture Borgia!"
Oh dear, Oh dear.

you are making this blog a laughing stock, it's getting dafter each day
ReplyDeleteStop posting crap articles about West Ham every day.
ReplyDelete0029 No.
ReplyDeleteHammersfan don't let this site become any more of an embarrassment to West Ham
ReplyDeleteIt's almost funny. But, I fear, not in the way intended.
ReplyDeleteI do wish people would stop posting poisonous comments on this blog.
ReplyDeleteI Love Lucy.but dont we all?
ReplyDeleteDifferent class mate, great on the ball!
ReplyDeleteStop posting drivel and people will stop posting poison! Iain's blog is a great example of how things should be done...
ReplyDeleteThat's for this, but no info on the players age, position, or club.
ReplyDeleteI've no grip against you personally Hammersfan, freedom of speech and all that, I just hate seeing these articles pop up on NewsNow as I rely on that site for REAL news.
lol...."kill off tottenham"....7 goals without reply... and counting...will take more than a nobody from italy to change that!
ReplyDeleteBugger Borgia .. he'll pick up too many red cards and will spend most of the season in the stands. I think we shuold go for machiavelli; a tactical midfield genius and just the man to unpick defences.
ReplyDeleteThe constant misleading headlines this site is churning out is an embarrassment.
ReplyDeleteI'll add it to the 'don't bother' list.
MancHammer - I Don't agree Machiavelli is too tactical, spends too much time thinking about how to battle the opposition.
ReplyDeleteBut I think they should go after the other Borgia, Rodrigo, instead. Used to play for Valencia. Fantastic attacking full back. Loves to make overlapping runs. Could fit in nicely in the WHU renaissance.

ReplyDeleteI like your thinking supernumbersix.. but when it comes to outflanking and overlapping the Boy Rommel is surely the master
ReplyDeleteMancHammer - He was indeed the master at outflanking but he left the Bundesliga, joined North African side, FC Tobruk - unfortunately he tanked....
ReplyDeleteLOL Manc, Supernumbersix and George. But even funnier the Tottenham fan and the poster who wants to know the club that Borgia plays for! I blame the teachers!
ReplyDeleteLOL And the joke clearly went over Savio's head!
