After Pompey's 2-0 victory over Liverpool, we will go bottom tomorrow with any sort of defeat against Chelsea. And we all know what happens to the club that finds itself bottom at Christmas! How have the club and its fans managed to sleep walk into this disaster?
This blog tried to wake you all up back in August but would you listen?
I cannot see where our next point is coming from when you consider our next few games and their recent form.CHELSEA(H)OPTS,PORTSMOUTH(H)0PTS,SPURS(A)0PTS,ARSENAL(H)0PTS,WOLVES(H)1PT,ASTON WILLA(A)0PTS,PORTSMOUTH(A)0PTS,BLACKBURN(H)0PTS.....and I think I'm being generous with the WOLVES result.
ReplyDeleteWhy the hell can't we get results like Pompey have just got!? We just got no fight in us at the moment.

"This blog tried to wake you all up but would you listen?" Listen, what the hell are you talking about! You should get off your high horse HF, constantly insinuating that we the bloggers who read and write comments here are idiots. This "I told you" attitude is really childish. Maybe you dont read the comments from us mere mortals but we have been AGREEING with you. Why dont you try and be construction and figure a way out of this mess and not keep telling us how wonderful you are. Remember we enjoy your site but this constant cry baby attitude is boring the crap out of us. So HF what should the claret&blue army do? Sack Zola? Protest at the games? WHAT?
ReplyDelete1627, if you roll back to August and read the comments you will find that for every one that agreed with me, 10 were calling me an idiot, a traitor and a Spud. I am glad you enjoy the blog. I am sorry I am an arrogant tosser, but believe me, I would be much happier at the moment if I had been wrong! Zamora has been brilliant today. I was sorry to see him leave but thought it wasgood business at the time. I was wrong there!
ReplyDeleteOh and check out C&B Holdings Are Better Bet than Sullivan and Gold 1627. I disagree, but I have carried the contribution as a valid opinion. If you would like to submit an article, I would be happy to run it, even if I disagree with it.
ReplyDeleteive got an article. its called west ham are going down. brilliant. LOSERS!!
ReplyDeleteI'm just so frustrated with our club I got carried away with my comments. Watching Portsmouth scalping the pool, Fulham stuffing Man Utd, Bolton kicking our arse, Wolves winning at the lane, Burnley with their passion, Wigan's surprises, Hull giving it a good go, the brums on that great winning streak and what do we have?
ReplyDeleteI really think the media's attention on our club is so negative that zola and the players are using it as an excuse. I mean our debt is nothing special in this league. Every other manager knows you live and die by your results, not with us, not zola's fault with all that debt and all!. I really believe the Zola, Clarke and the players don't blame themselves, its the debt, its the board, its iceland, its the credit crunch. NO its you Zola! you are a crap manager with crap players, I'm just sick of the excuses. SACK ZOLA NOW!
i agree with 90% of what you say but to gloat and get some kind of kick out of being right (about things most fans already know or agree with) is sad expecially when the end result is the misfortune of the team and fans alike.
ReplyDeleteon a positive note we had a similar spell last season where we couldnt beat anyone and we are only 2 points worse off than this time last year. the league is so tight this year a win gets you out of the relegation zone, but where that win will come from i don't know.
how about confronting the people you are really angry with instead of having sly digs at the fans in general and if you cut out that gloating and what comes across as joy at being right because west ham are loosing this could be the best west ham blog on the internet
Thanks for the back handed compliment 1859. It isn't gloating, it is anger: anger at the stupidity of the club and at the fans who led the chorus of "In Zola we trust", closing their eyes and ears to what was really happening. I called them the Three Monkeys Brigade back in August - the hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil merchants who actually got a petition together to have this blog removed from News Now. If I am a little bitter about these people, please excuse me. They have made death threats against myself and my family, and all because I said what I honestly believed about the mess we were getting in to. I know we are only two points worse off but it is about to become 5 - we will lose tomorrow - and that five points will not be recovered easily. I don't want it to happen but I believe we will be relegated. The other teams around us are fighting, we are subsiding.
