Apparently it is a very attractive table - big enough for six place settings and with folding leaves to maximise space in the dining room when not in use. Seems like a reasonable offer in the circumstances unless somebody comes in at the last minute offering a table and six chairs!
Oh no, sorry, they haven't offered a table, they've tabled an offer! I'll get my coat!
