Arsenal Strong, West Ham Confused,
Interesting team selections. Upson is playing after all. Will be interesting to see Nouble and Daprela obviously. Who will play where? Sky reckon 4-4-2 but they don't know what they are talking about. It will be 4-5-1 surely but who will play where in midfield? I hope Stanislas either starts on the right or up front. If he starts on the left, I fear Arsenal will rip us apart down that flank, with a 19 year old kid "protected" by a right footed winger on the left with no appetite for defending.
Given the personnel selected, I would have Behrami and Kovac "sitting", and play both Stanislas and Jimenez in advanced roles, looking to spring beyond Nouble. That would leave Diamanti to float wherever he sees fit. That is 4-3-3 of course, a formation that Zola prefers and I detest. Let's see how it all unfolds!
Fingers crossed we pick up no more injuries!
1 - 0! Come on west ham hang in there.
ReplyDeleteGood first half,
ReplyDeleteI was happy to see the kids do ok,
I think the only thing they need is more games under there belts.
Plus, they wont get a harder debut than arsenal, and am looking forward to see them up against the lesser teams.
