Benni Doing An Ince!
Well we didn't like it when Ince was pictured at Old Trafford before the deal was completed but when the boot is on the other foot everything is just dandy! McCarthy has apparently jumped ship already, coming down to London even though a deal has yet to be agreed with Blackburn!
Can we register him in time for the Pompey game? I don't know how these things work but if he is in London and the paperwork can be rushed through, then he could be heading down the A3 tomorrow!
Visits to Blackburn will be tasty in future! Defoe is our "black Judas"; McCarthy will become the Blackburn Judas!
Who is being clever here I wonder? Little Gian for landing McCarthy, or Big Sam for using the money to buy Beattie? Could be an interesting shoot out between now and the end of the season!
I loved incey always one of my favourites. Good luck to the man.
ReplyDeleteMcCarthy is in spain though.
ReplyDeleteHow is Defoe our Black Judas? He's no blacker than Ince.
ReplyDeleteDefoe is our Little Judas, (and Frankie Jr is the Fat Judas.)
Sort it out...
Paul Ince always is and always will be an Upton Park Legend. What a man and what a top top player. Im proud he broke through our youth team another Tony Carr major success.
ReplyDeleteBenni will sign on Thursday at the latest which is also my birthday. Happy Birthday to me
ReplyDeleteHope we do sign Benjani as well as the guy is exactly what we need. Fast holds the ball up well and can finish. We would have a very healthy front 4 with cole and the superb franco and in no way shape or form should we go down with them in our squad. Thank god for the 2 davids now just sack Duxbury and the world will be a better place in the land of the hammers
ReplyDeleteHopefully Junior Stanislas doesn't betray us in the future, his name is too similar to Judas as it is.
ReplyDeleteIncey will be part of the Tony Carr testimonal anyway so forgive and forget the guy is a hammer at heart. Cant wait to give him a great ovation
ReplyDeleteJunior needs to learn to defend a bit better before he becomes a regular. Good finisher though
ReplyDeleteUp the hammers
ReplyDeleteHe hasn't been training so even if the deal does go through, it'd be difficult for him to play in the Pompey game.
ReplyDeleteSaladslice is being clever. He knows we have a striker problem so why sell your striker to your relegation rivals now and fix their problem, when you can wait until the end of the window.
Wasn't he the one that called the Dyer deal off because we had apparently said that we got him on the cheap from Newcastle?
Ince still loves this club.
I think Ince did the wrong thing by getting photographed in the shirt before he went. He said he got tricked. Maybe, but i'm over it anyway. I would think he does have feelings for us & regrets what he did. McCarthy is a good deal. He will play well for us. Considering what has happened over over the past weeks, my gut feeling is, some good games coming our way.
ReplyDeleteWell the first thing to consider is that both Ince and Defoe were brought through the ranks at West Ham as they were quite young when they both got their debuts, whereas McCarthy came over from Porto when he was in his late twenties. Secondly, McCarthy for some reason has fallen out of favour with Big Fat (pie eating) Sam, whereas Ince and Defoe both f**ked off when we still needed them. Another thing to consider is that Ince was always a Man Utd supporter, I know this because I used to know him as a senior school kid as he used to live more or less opposite to my old school, so as much as we have hated the fact that he jumped ship to join Man Utd, he simply signed for his boyhood club, he in truth, was never one of our own.
ReplyDeleteSome Man United fan Flappers mate, he joined Liverpool! That's like a Rabbi signing up for the BNP!
ReplyDeleteHammersfan???
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about???
Ince, according to Flappers, was a Man U fan: in which case, why did he join Liverpool? Or are you talking about the main article?
ReplyDeleteLOL, Lets spell it out! Flappers is saying Ince was a united fan. HF is saying if that were true then why the hell did Ince join Liverpool after his stint with Inter!. A true United fan would never play for Liverpool. Okay everyone understand now. LOL
ReplyDeleteAt the end of the day what did Ince achieve at Liverpool? He joined from another club, Inter, so not the same as going direct from United to the Dippers. You can’t expect players who have been tossed aside to respect the unwritten rule of not playing for our rivals.
ReplyDeleteInce was top for United, yes he got a bit carried away with the whole “Guvnor” thing, but so what?
Owen has done the exact same thing, the only difference is Owen has a genuine chance of winning silverware with United, Ince never did with the Scousers, it was just a place for him to play football…nothing that could ever emulate his success at United. He’s grown up since then though, he talks politely about Fergie despite everything and takes the shit from the United fans quite well to be honest. There have been worse behaved ex players, thats for sure….see Carlitos your Boy!!
