Sweet FA Cup!

A picture's worth a thousand words, they say, and the one above says everything about the FA Cup. Two Premiership sides meet in an epic Third Round head to head and nobody is interested! Shocking!

See the article below for an idea on how to change things for the better!

  1. Reminds me of the time the Wigan fans left the JJB stadium when we beat them 3-0 ...Boa Morte scoring and assisting? Boy would we love to have him back now!

  2. Just how bad has it got for us to start wanting Boa Morte back?

I know want you mean though.

Does anybody know of any possible trasfer targets(realistic ones) for next week?

  3. Missing Boa? Dear God. That's like missing syphilis! Mind you, anybody missing him probably has it - makes you blind doesn't it?

  4. Well, I'm not saying he was anywhere near our best player, but we could always use backup wingers/shadow strikers!!!

  5. Shadow strikers Kareem? How many goals mate, how many goals?

  6. Where's Marco Boogers when you need him?

  7. Hiding in Curbishley's caravan parked at Stone.

  8. I know, I know! But I'd rather have Diamanti, Nouble, and Boa Morte available instead of just Diamanti and Nouble, don't you think? It's a desperate call I know, but it's not like we're soaring up in 4th, now are we?

  9. Last minute, score 0-0, Boa through on goal, Arsenal keeper stranded in our area having come up from a corner, glory beckons...ball ends up in the upper tier of the Bobby Moore stand!

Still, Boa might be back for the World Cup. Here's hoping if we have to play Portugal!

  10. Whilst trying to cheer myself up with the thought of going back to work on monday, I was trying to think of the worst possible hammers starting 11 and this is what I came up with.

    Alan Mcnightmare

    Gary Charles
    Scott Minto
    Gary Breen
    Rigobert Song

    Joey Beuchamp
    Nigel Quashie
    Andy Impey
    Ilie Dumitrescu

    Marco Boogers
    Iain Dowie

So I suppose it could be worst for tomorrow.

  11. Ian Dowie? Poor Dowie he loves West Ham What about Mike Newell surely we couldn't have had anyone worse than that. Does anyone remember the fan that complained and Harry said if he could do better he should play and he came on on he WAS better and I'm pretty sure that was Newell even though the memory plays havoc these days and we've had more than our fair share of dross

  12. That's pretty normal for Wigan. You sure it wasn't fancy dress day with all the fans coming dressed as seats?

Boa would have a better attitude than some of our players over the last few games. He's a battler. I'm sure if he had been fit we would have held on better in some of those games we were ahead in.

  13. Deane,

I remember that fan harry told to get on.

It still makes me laugh to this day.

Even worse as I recall, was the day poor old Les Sealey had to play up front.
