Take Over Latest - Whenever Wednesday

Monday came and Monday went. Tuesday came and Tuesday went. But down came the snow. Wednesday has come and Wednesday will soon be gone and still no word on what is happening. It's all so damned frustrating.

The Arsenal Bolton game is off tonight, giving Coyle an opportunity to work with his Bolton charges ahead of the rescheduled fixture. We, of course, will move Heaven and Earth to get the ground ready for the crunch game with Wolves, even though the match comes too early for key man Carlton Cole. Would it make more sense to let the match fall foul of the weather? Probably, although three more points in the bank on Sunday ahead of the away games at Villa and Pompey would make us all feel a little better. Mind you, a home defeat would see a few wrists opened!

Ho hum. England are losing the test. It's impossible to drive on my road: I've just been trying to help a guy who went into a skid but it was no use, it's just sheet ice on top of compacted snow. Nothing on TV. Guess I may as well read some more of Gorky's "My Childhood".

There a bit of positive spin for ya, oh and what's happening over there? Bit of bloody snow and the whole country grinds to a halt!
We've had more over here and the place runs as normal, roads cleared within 24hrs, airport running fine and all transport (including trains) running as normal.
SORT IT OUT BRITAIN! The rest of Europe is laughing at you. The news makes a mountain out of a molehill, BBC had this great satellite image of the UK from above shrouded in white stating "you can see the problem, the whole country is white" well if they had panned out a bit they would of seen that the WHOLE of Europe is white WITH LOTS MORE SNOW and yet doesn't have a fraction of the problems. Three problems the UK has:
    1. Organisation
    2. Communication
    3. Health and bloody safety
    Now back to the footie....

  2. You forgot lazy teachers, Trade Unions and Gritting Tsars.

Mind you, are we all expected to buy winter tyres and chains to use once every 40 years?
