West Ham Take Over News
The Big News On Big Takeover Monday is that...there is no news. Intermarket have not come in with a bid so far and nor has Fernandes. Sullivan and Gold have not gone away but neither has their bid been accepted.
Surprised? Well surely after his one liner on Twitter, Fernandes is going to buy us? After all, Twitter is the standard medium for announcing a corporate take over isn't it? Nestle twittered about buying Cadbury didn't they?
Or maybe Fernandes thought better of his bid when Arsenal rose Lazarus like and dumped us out of the Cup?
All very confusing. Still, it's January the fourth and we haven't sold anybody yet. Maybe the big freeze is to blame, maybe all deals have been put into cold storage!
SULLIVAN & GOLD, 50% buy in share, seems to be doing the rounds again,as is FERNANDES doing the same.INTERMARKET are the big players, in all this ,looking for a slice of the cake ,as well.Is there going to be some sort of consortium set up I wonder?
ReplyDeleteG&S 50% and Intermarket/Fernandes the other 50%. Love to see that lot get on hehehe
ReplyDeleteI don't think you want a takeover, might give you less to slag us off about eh Trevor!
ReplyDeleteAll this talk of Tony Fernandes,
ReplyDeleteWas he not one of Steve Cogan's creation's?
how the fuck would u know whats going on anyway u mug.
ReplyDeletethe board arent going to ake public every bid they receive the minute the get it
MORE NEGATIVE DROSS U TWAT
If you look on WHTID you will see all week that I was saying absolutely nothing will happen come monday, and nothing has. I said skysports wouldn't have to say anything because that is what they do, and yes you guessed it, they've said nothing. I honestly believe Straumer will take us for everything we have and it is upsetting.
ReplyDeleteThe one thing that worries me with Intermarket is that we dont know who is behind it.
ReplyDeleteMaybe, T.Brown's way of worming he's way back into the club.
And I for one would not welcome this, as we all know how he operates.
This TB stuff is all rumour started by a yid. Whoever it is going to be had better hurry up before the bloody transfer window shuts!!
ReplyDelete1924, of course I don't know what's going on, I don't read Twitter! The Financial Times but not Twitter! Tell me, do you read Twitter? I'd imagine you do. Do they call people who Twitter Twatters perhaps?
ReplyDelete1747, of course I want us to be taken over. Really disappointed that nothing has happened today. I had faint hopes.
Personally after some things i have read. Fernandes does not want to buy us just yet but possibly in the near future because he mainly wants to concentrate on LotusF1. But it doesn't mean he is not one of the wealthy hammer fans that Intermarket have backing them if they are to be a consortium :) then he does not have to stress over LotusF1 and us. So could be better in the long run
ReplyDeleteDanCorrupt88 you have hit the nail on the head! Does no-one else recall the initial newspaper articles/PR about Intermarket, they included Fernandes as one of the key backers. Not saying it will happen, because like all of us I dont know, but just re-iterating early press regarding the connection. I am perceiving however major power plays going on though, and a lot of the articles are probably being leaked by journalists who have close associations to the various potential bidders, eg Jason Burt and Intermarket/Daily Mirror and 2 Davids etc.
ReplyDeleteHaha Dave! He does sound like it doesn't he? Maybe one of Paul Whitehouse's creations like Swiss Toni: 'Buying a club is like making love to a beautiful woman'
ReplyDeleteThe real truth was leaked this morning in Bæjarins Besta (Iceland)- West Ham are to be taken over by owner of the Dangote Group Aliko Dangote - who will bring six Nigerian Internationals into the Hammers squad following the African Cup of Nations - it is reported the big amounts to £200m
