Another Good Result!

Another game for Sunderland and another two points lost. Fulham were there for the taking today after the midweek game in Europe and long journey home. Apparently they didn't manage a single shot on goal and yet Sunderland still failed to beat them. It is 14 games without a win for Blunderland now. Is Geordie Bruce secretly plotting their relegation?

  4. He was a pretty good player in his time. I think he has one foot in the grave & the other on a banana skin at Sunderland though. He seems to do that though, go through good & bad patches. Long association with Birmingham, hmmm'. Sunderland should ring Curbs up.

  5. Quite TBI!

Winston, I seem to remember Birmingham going down under similar circumstances when Bruce was in charge. Good start, then they collapsed.

  6. Yes Hammersfan i recall the same. Great player, one of the better that never represented his country, but inconsistent as a manager it would appear. Not all players convert to successful managers. He wanted to stay with Birmingham but then had some sort of disagreement with Karren Brady & moved on. I think we will be ok this year looking at the fixtures of those around us. We need to attack those home games though. At least in one respect, we are controlling the debt. Some teams aren't & if they do not achieve success may be in some trouble. The teams in the Premier League have more debt than the rest of Europe combined. Staggering but true.
