Souness doesn't want it! Thank God for that! Bilic doesn't want it! Thank God for that! Hoddle doesn't want it! Thank Hod for that! Does anybody want the West Ham job?
Well I take you back to Turds dropping out of the running for the Hull City job in double quick time. I said then that Curbishley would return to complete unfinished business.
If Zola goes, who else is available? That brown Volvo is being polished as I write!
I may well be on my own here, but right now I'd be happy to see Curbs come back. He'll out of the suggestion so far be the most liekly to give us exactly what we need, steady prgoression up the table by a cautious approach.
ReplyDeleteThe premiership is becoming increasingly difficult to pick up points in, with a top seven teams that have clearly superior superior squads to the rest of us. Which for me means we need now to adopt our hated reserved approach of churning out the wins.
Where Zola spent the first quarter of the season trying new tactics, when pre-season should have been enough for that Curbs would at least bring a lot of security in the tactical department.
I'm still holding out for the hope, although I'm not sure it's the best move, the hope that Sir Trevor Brooking is enstated as temporary manager once again. What was his record like during his last stints again?
Either way, anything has to be an improvement over Zola's I'm your friend and tactical numptienessnuss.

I think they'll get a mercenary manager to fit in with our mercenary players and mercenary owners. We'll have a complete set then. Just us v them.
ReplyDeleteNeil - you can't be serious - but the point is who will come here - answer no one worth having........
ReplyDeleteNeil stay on your own - McClaren has his FC Twente Enschede side top the Dutch league - got to be a better proposition
ReplyDeleteActually I've notice that this board is a very fickle, compared with the other less reactionary west ham blogs out there
