West Ham Could Cash In On Dyer
Given the wave of new marketing ideas initiated by Sullivan and Gold - including reduced price shirts, the mini season ticket and the offer of free entry to see the Wolves game if you spend a tenth of a monkey on merchandising - they have been surprisingly slow to cash in on the revenue generation potential of Kieron Dyer.
Surely there would be a market for shirts bearing the legend, "I saw Kieron Dyer kick a ball in Claret and Blue"? How about a sweepstake on the number of minutes Dyer will play before the next injury or a "buy a muscle" sweepstake to guess where injury will strike next? Or what about a book entitled, "How to earn £7,800,000 and counting without breaking sweat!"?
Alternatively, if Sunday roast rumours are to be believed, Dyer could feature in one of Sullivan's dodgy dvds. Trouble is, just before the money shot, Dyer would pull out with a groin injury!
Judging by the size of his vegetables in that shot it must have been a disappointing Sunday lunch!
