Nail Biting Time

I opted not to follow the results today, taking a day at the beach instead. I was nervous as I turned on Radio Five Live, fearing the worst after Birmingham's performance last week. The worst didn't happen, thank God, but Hull's away point may galvanise them and give them hope. Burnley lost but Bolton are now safe and Wolves are nearly there. Let's hope Arsenal can field 11 fit players tomorrow to roll over Wigan!

  1. HF, I think the good thing is that with only 4 games left, Hull need to match us and get a win and a draw over anything we get. This means that even just one more draw for us could be far too much for them considering they have Villa, Sunderland and Liverpool in that 4.

  2. None of whom are pulling up any trees at the moment. You don't mention Wigan of course!

  3. ...I accounted for them ages ago, you know that. They're likely gonna lose against Arsenal and Chelsea, and we're gonna beat 'em :) and finish 15th, above Wolves on goal difference. Don't laugh.

  4. Hopefully if we survive, we'll take next pre-season ALOT more seriously, no stupid competitions in China where we struggle against Chinses factory workers.

  6. You do realise Hull have a game in hand over us (Villa at home) They win that then they are level on points with us.

I reckon it's gonna come down to the last game of the season.

  7. Every squad from 1st to 20th is basically knackered at this stage of the season. We just have to keep our shape for 90 minutes a week for a 0-0 or 2...it cant be that hard ffs!

  12. HF,
With only one relegation place left, I think it can only be to our benefit if the teams down there with us play each other i.e. take points off one another.
