Hammersfan Wrong About Parker!

Endorse here if you think he is a twat! (Hammersfan, not Parker!)

26 comments:

  1. only about him not leaving (and he has a proper pout on about that)but you are right that he is overated (by westham fans) can't pass, doesn't read the game well enough or tackle well enough, score enough goals etc etc
Still the best we got tho' unfortunately

  2. lol Why on earth are people on Parkers back now? He is the man who almost single handedly saved us last season, yet we just forget that. Picking out a players faults is so easy, most of which I don't agree with by the way. Parker was our only threat against Man United, the only one who listened to the tactics of counter-attacking, yet had little options given to him. Chuffed he's staying, a player I rate very highly. HF you're a twat!

  3. Don,t feel hard done by tho!
    You can,t predict anything correctly

lots of rumours and maybe very nealy he could have left so on another he could have gone to Tottenham

thank god it hasn,t because otherwise no decent replacement

except if O,hara was a makeweight in that deal

  4. Well this is just too easy.

I'm yet to meet anyone who doesn't think he is a twat! A homophobic one at that.

  5. Hmm, seemed like it was a dead cert to me.

I think if anyone decent other than Spuds had came in for him, I think he would have gone!

  6. Not sure you should be posting as Iain Dale 2230!

    ReplyDelete
  7. And Why's that? It's my name.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Why can't Iain Dale post on here?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Iain Dale can post whenever he likes. Just as the real Headmaster can. Are we not missing an opportunity here though? I have egg on my face and somebody is playing silly games by adopting other people's names!

  10. But it's really me, 'Matt Headmaster Iain Dale Ryan'

    Why don't you ban me?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Errrrr I think someone is using my name here HF! Those posts were not from me and I'm pretty sure they weren'ty from Headmaster either (might have been but doesn't sound like him) and probably not from Dale either!lol

Anyhoo, I know my name is lovely but it's mine and whoever is using it could you kindly go F**k yourself for me :)

    Thank you

  12. Indeed Matt, your hunch was right! The comment was not from me.

  13. yep you are a twat and a wrong one at that. Parker is our king

  14. Perhaps it's sinking in just how truly unpopular you and this little blog of yours really is?

No one gives a shi'ite about you either way.

  15. The "head" master - wish you won't post on here - you're boring! along with that Matthew fellow... prize pair of chumps - who both think they've got something interesting to say.... hahaha - they've both got the shortest of fuses which won't bode well for their new blog

  16. Hardly worth posting a comment..... I don't understand why that once you get an idea in your head you never let go - I mean how many headings did you make about Scott Parker - how many words, and how many inches of text? and for what, to be wrong? so what was all that about then? you got an idea in your head, wouldn't let it go, went on and on and on only to be wrong, and you wonder why some of your posts hardly get any replies - it's because no one cares, look elsewhere and they care, they care on WHTID, they care on KUMB and the care on the .Org but on here no one gives a monkeys, because everyone knows this site is all about you and you don't give a toss for actual debate because we all know you'll do everything you can to extinguish actual debate, especially if it goes against the idealistic views of chairman fanno.

  17. Dirty Den says...

You must have posted at least ten Parker related articles Hammersfan. You became obsessed about selling him. I think that entitles you to be called Super Prat.

  18. There's no way I'm going to stoop so low as to brand you a 'twat' HF, but I'll settle for sounding smug and say "I told you so"!

OK, you've admitted your faux pas and flawed judgement...but where's the fanfare and fireworks to highlight it?! You're not exactly choking with indigestion on a rather large chunk of 'Humble Pie' are you mate, let's face it?!
A tenuous graphic and a one-liner is scant repayment for the numerous posts you bombarded us with as to WHY Scotty HAD to leave West Ham, how BAD he is as a player and WHO should be involved in a CERTAIN deal to take him/replace him?! You should be made to pay a forfeit!

Anyway, the fact is...he's staying. He actually told a female Sky Sports News reporter early yesterday that he was "100% staying at West Ham"...and Avram reiterated that Scott Parker was "never going anywhere" in an interview. GOOD NEWS as far as I'm concerned!! The sooner Hitz is fit and they're side by side, the better!

Deane 21.53...'can't pass, doesn't read the game well enough or tackle well enough'??? I won't slag you off for that mate, but if you ARE registered blind, you have my sympathy!

Anon 22.28... O'Hara wouldn't be a 'makeweight' in any deal! He'd simply be a lightweight! He's not fit to lace Parker's boots, and probably can't tie his own anyway!

  19. The question is Shaun, is this squad good enough to stay up? What happens if Ilunga is injured and out for a few months? Fancy Spector at left back? Who is going to score the goals? Will Jacobsen (if signed) stop the defence leaking goals? What happens if Green is injured? Had the Parker deal been done at £8million, with Keane on loan for a season, we could have ended up with a stronger squad had that money been invested wisely. Had we brought in £18million for Cole and Parker, with Keane arriving on loan, we could have built a much stronger squad. The trouble is, we prevaricated and then Tottenham spied Van der Vaart as a better option than Parker!

  20. You simply won't let it lie will you HF!?
The simple truth of the matter is, the Cruddy Spuds were NEVER going to get their greasy maulers on Parker!! There was no negotiation...there were no swap deals being considered...Van Der Vaart wasn't a 'better alternative', he was simply a last ditch acquisition on 'Arry's part!

Keane is no better than the strikers we have (anyone can look great in the Scottish Sunday Pub League!). So to have 'exchanged' a vital midfielder, given the current injuries, for him when we already have a plethora of front-men, who now include Obinna, would have been ludicrous to put it mildly! That's why it DIDN'T happen, and wasn't even being contemplated!

Of course the squad is good enough...not just to stay up but to finish mid-table too!
Why be hypothetically negative with regards to injuries?
Why not be positive and consider that injured players such as Hitz, Behrami, Hines and Collison are on their way back?
There were signs of a very good side against Bolton!
It's early days yet HF! Once TH is in the middle with Parker we WILL see a big difference and Obinna may turn out to be a great acquisition!

We HAVE full-back cover...Ilunga, TBH, Jacobsen, Reid, Faubert, Tomkins, Dyer! Perm any one from seven! JS not required! We have keeper cover!
What we don't have is quality midfield cover, which underlines why letting Parker go was never an option!

  21. Okay Shaun, why was it late afternoon yesterday before Parker pledged public commitment to West Ham?

Why were we trying to sign Keane? Grant has said he will always be welcome at the club.

Why were we in negotiation with Liverpool to sell Cole?

Why wasn't that contract extension signed by Parker?

Why was the Jacobsen deal done so late that we may not yet get approval?

Why was Babel all set to fly down to Spurs, when Liverpool were negotiating to buy Cole? What was that all about then? Please explain.

Your full back options are laughable. None of those are an option for Ilunga at LEFT BACK and NONE of them are bloody full backs! Have you failed to notice how clubs rip us apart down our flanks? Look at the Man Utd game, when Spector was SELECTED ahead of all your options for right back! The penalty came because Spector was turned inside out by a 36 year old and the Berbatov goal resulted from a cross from our left flank, with Ilunga again failing to close. If your options are so good, why were none of them picked ahead of Spector? If Jacobsen is so good, why is he surplus to requirements at Blackburn having failed to impress at Everton? The guy has yard dog and desperate last resort stamped all over him!

  22. Why is there a need for Parker to publicly commit to West ham when it is already a given which requires no affirmation, aside from the benefit of the conspiracy theorists such as yourself?! Oh, and I'll expect another apology when he puts pen to paper very soon!

I'm sure Grant would welcome a whole host of players to the club...doesn't mean to say they'd all want to come there does it! Keane was never a bartering option for Parker...fact!

On Cole....let's say your country pile is worth £2M big ones, and I insultingly offer you £500K...there won't be a handshake now will there! Liverpool weren't 'negotiating'...they were trying to commit daylight robbery!

Jacobsen paperwork? Such things are a common occurrence HF...that's why it's called transfer DEADLINE day!!

It is now common knowledge that Babel had no intention of leaving Liverpool, as he himself posted on Twitter! His transfer did not depend on Cole moving to Liverpool because the Cole deal was already dead in the water due to the Scousers' barefaced cheek!

Oh, and they were not MY full-back options...it was simply a list of players who have operated in that position...I was stating facts! I certainly wouldn't say it was 'laughable'...can you name any other defenders for those positions apart from Brown?!
...and I don't think Spector should be too embarrassed about being done by THAT 36yr old HF! There's not many people out there who would so ridiculously discredit one of the best players the Premiership has ever seen simply because he happens to be 36! Looks like you're one of the exceptions eh?! You wouldn't have Giggs at West Ham even now??!

    ReplyDelete
  23. So tell me, if there was no need to publicly commit to West Ham, why did Parker do so yesterday? That really was a waste of breath given the window was closing so he no longer had any choices available to him! Get your head out of your arse! He was hoping to secure a move and I suspect the salary Tottenham were offering was a stumbling block, in addition to the hitch regarding Babel, Keane, Cole and Van der Vaart.

Tottenham used us. As long as Parker was an option, they could negotiate down the price for Van der Vaart. "We don't need him that much, we can have Parker if we want to".

Babel tweeted BECAUSE Liverpool were trying to offload him to Tottenham and he didn't like being used as a makeweight. The helicopter was standing ready - that is a fact!

The full back options you listed are all crap. They've been tried and found wanting in the past. The Jacobsen deal wasn't just late, it was super late - too late technically! The guy is nearly 31 and is ordinary in the extreme. Tell me, who is the replacement left back if not Spector? The Official Site didn't list any of your options when the departure of Daprela was announced. They could only come up with a kid called Brown. Brilliant!

Shaun, take off the Claret and Blue goggles and see what's been going on! Sullivan and Gold have cocked up big time. The squad is top heavy with very ordinary centre backs and lacks any cover for left back. The right back options are poor. Up front, we do not have a natural goal scorer and the midfield is short of goal scorers too. We also have no experienced cover for Green. Injuries happen in football. We are not equipped to cope. God help us if Ilunga is ruled out for a month or two!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Before you start with the insults, get your facts right!
Parker DID NOT publicly commit, as you put it! It was neither a press conference nor an official statement....he was merely answering an adhoc question put to him by a roving Sky reporter when she collared him near the training ground! Nothing more to it than that! A straight question answered with a straight answer! Simple. He even repeated the '100%' bit!
Maybe if he had fobbed her off or preferred to 'no comment', that would add a semblance of credibility to your much-laboured conspiracy theory...but he didn't!

How many times would you like it repeated...TottScum didn't have any bargaining power because Scott Parker simply wasn't available to them!
You insist on posting that he was simply to satisfy your own 'transfer merry-go-round' hypothesis and to soften the blow with regards to the fact that you were WRONG! Man up and admit it HF instead of creating implausible smoke-screens to disguise the fact!

We're 3 games in and all you can forecast is the blackened rainclouds of doom and gloom...again!
Being a West Ham supporter means just that...showing support!! Just because I'd rather be positive about the club doesn't mean to say I'm delusional and wear claret n blue goggles with rose-tinted lenses in. I don't have to...because I care!! DO YOU??

  25. Of course I care Shaun, I wouldn't write a blog on West Ham otherwise.

So why wasn't Parker asked the question before? I've seen him interviewed and it would be the first question I would ask if I was a journalist. Of course, the questions have to be agreed before hand and the "Are you signing that contract?" question was ruled off limits by Parker and the club. The interviewer was told, "Parker is available but no questions about any possible transfer." Why was that question off limits if Parker was definitely staying? Explain that. And don't say, "Maybe the journalist didn't think to ask" because that would be a crassly stupid reply.

How many times has Parker been asked the question "off the cuff" before? Loads because that was the story. Parker has simply walked past the microphones as if he hasn't heard the question. Then, when the deal didn't come together, Parker suddenly pledged his commitment and Tottenham looked elsewhere - to Van Der Vaart.

Nothing else fits ALL the facts Shaun. The contract wasn't signed for weeks, Parker didn't confirm his commitment for weeks, we definitely tried to get Keane, Liverpool were definitely after Cole and Babel was definitely earmarked for Spurs. When a jigsaw fits this well, you don't need to check the lid of the box to know you have got the right picture!
