Spurs - So nearly the bonfire of the vanities in Bern!
Well that was very nearly hilarious. What was it, 25 minutes and Spurs were already 3-0 down to a bunch of Swiss no marks? How bad were the Cockyfools at the back - as bad as we were at Villa to tell the truth. Had the Kids of Bern taken their chances, they could have had six!
I loved the TV close ups on 'Arry's 'ead. At one point I was sure it was going to turn 360 degrees, Exorcist fashion, unscrew and fly off into space! His face was puce, his double chin grew ten more chins and developed into one mass of tortoise flesh and he was up and down from that bench like a guy with piles. If only the Infants from Bern had kept their nerve and attacked for the full 90 minutes!
How poor were Dawson and Bassong? How awful was Assou-Ekotto? And how well did the Swiss Toddlers take their early chances? Tottenham came, preened themselves and were cut to ribbons! If the infant substitute had taken his two chances in the second half, the tie would be all over bar the Tottenham whinging!
The pity is, at 2-3, Tottenham are favourites to progress in the second leg. If 'Arry swallows his pride and picks Keane from the off, I reckon Tottenham are nailed on certainties to go through. But who knows? The Tiny Tots looked impressive on the break so if Tottenham over commit...
You win nothing with kids apparently; well 'Arry will be hoping that's right! And watching Palacios tonight, you can see why he wants Parker! Dear God, watching Tottenham tonight, they should bid for Tomkins!
Sorry mate, couldn't post that. Try to construct a sentence without the f and c words. Or is that too hard for a Tottenham fan?
ReplyDeleteWe are going to get you kicked of News Now and then we are coming for you. We know where you live jew scum. West Ham BNP rule.
ReplyDeleteScott Parker would clearly have made a difference - I thought he was supposed to be signing a new deal with the spammers but no news....I reckon the odds are pretty good that he'll come to Spurs if we qualify? Worth a punt eh?
ReplyDeleteYou are very sick 0019. How revolting are you to post that on this thread? It says a lot about you and your anonymous crew and, indeed, about the BNP if you are, in fact, a member of that party.
ReplyDeleteJust heard 'Arry blaming the pitch! How exactly was the pitch to blame for the three goals they conceeded?
ReplyDeleteA few things have come to light tonight:
ReplyDeleteKeane should probably stay, he obviously still has it,
Palacios isn't up to it, absolute liability and almost cost us another goal with a hospital ball back to Gomes, Cheerio Wilson,
Huddlestone may be our most important player, and a sure starter every week, lets hope the old knee was ok tonight,
Charlie is a lazy fu*ker.
No excuses we were poor today. We trained on the astro turf yesterday so the pitch shouldn't have been too much of a problem. ahh well you always have to have games like this. Hopefully at White Hart Lane we teach em a lesson.
ReplyDeleteI'm a die hard West Ham fan and I'm not one for all this hatred shit between football clubs! The way I see it is, every team is in the position in the EPL that they deserve to be.
ReplyDeleteSpurs deserved this CL chance and West Ham deserved to be nearly relegated.
But I have to say biys this was such a big chance for you with around £20Million riding on qualification and you treated it like a Carling Cup 2nd round game.
It's pretty clear that Young Boys went out to win and they fulfilled their wish.
You have a lot to do at WHL if they turn up and play like they did today but I think the 2 away goals might just see you qualify.
The only problem I can see for your 2nd leg is your manager. Harry is stubborn and that stubborness will probably see him start with Bassong and Dawson and leave Keane on the bench. If he does, you will struggle!
Defoe looked a shadow of himself tonight as he has done since pre-season.
But anyway.......good luck with it :)
Anonymous 00:19. Fascist, violent, anti-semitic, wanting to ban free speech. I'm reminded of somebody... Are you a very tiny man? I think you should grow a little moustache and move to a country where your views will be amongst the majority's. Sorry to break it to you, but West Ham BNP does not rule, except perhaps in your rather underdeveloped mind. Stick to talking about football, if you know anything about it.
ReplyDeleteHF why are making these BNP posts yourself = we know it's you
