This isn't so clear cut but, with some airbrushing, you could play "Spot the ball" with this one. Never mind Ilunga, he has just made a hash of a clearance, and ignore Reid who looks like he has just crapped the ball, focus instead on Green through the tangle of bodies.
Now Elmander is hitting this with his left foot towards the right hand side of the goal as he looks at it. But in what direction is Green moving? He is committed to HIS right, the opposite side of the goal to the direction of the shot!
Why is most of our first team starters black? Green,Upson and Parker the only white first team starters and they are probably going to leave soon! I don't count noble or kovac because they are fringe players. Even most of the subs and from the youth academy are black. I'm not been racist just wondering why? Is it because whites are crap at football and blacks are stronger and more skillful.
ReplyDeleteUnnecessary observation surely? Can't say I've noticed.
ReplyDeleteWe need some hard men from the scottish highlands. Another McAvennie would be nice. West ham are a bunch of overpaid over sensitive pushovers. The good news next season in the championship we should be able to off load momma's boy's!!
ReplyDeleteReaction time anybody ?!?
ReplyDeleteAlso Reid and Ilunga are "blocking" the left side of the goal, so Greeny should be a bit more on the right side! Why don't you show the pictures when Reid & Ilunga were dragged and pushed just seconds before the third goal ?
It's not his position, it's where his weight is, on his right foor, making a move to his left very difficult. Don't have those pics, do you?
ReplyDeleteYour an idiot!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIv bet you have never actually played!
id like o point out HF never said green did anything wrong was just pointing out he was on the right side of the goal
ReplyDeleteI will rewrite that for you.
ReplyDeleteYou're an idiot! I bet you have never actually played.
If you're going to call somebody an idiot, take care with you written English!
"Take care with "you" written English? You (sic) is a fine one to talk.
ReplyDeleteIrony my friend. Over your head I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteIrony? did someone buy you some for your birthday? that's a first from you.... you should thank your nan because it came in useful, let's hope she gets you some more for Christmas as well
ReplyDeleteJesus Christ! While I don't agree with everything on this blog, the comments by it's 'nay sayers' must rank as the most retarded on the internet! Why bother reading it if you hate it so much? Life is finite (unless you are also dumb enough to believe in an afterlife), so why bother wasting so many moments of it on stuff you hate? You're WHU fans, haven't you wasted enough of your existence already?
ReplyDeletehammersfan 7th august:
ReplyDelete"A real team is now beginning to take shape!"
and
"This is getting exciting from where I am sitting!"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...losers
Right, I completely disagree with your suggestive blogs that Green has been so awful and is one of the key reasons we keep losing. He is being exposed by the defence of the whole team.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I see the defence is awful. A good defender Upson may be, but I think the whole back four needs shipping out and replacing with a unit that can work together.
Just an average premiership back four will do, anyone from the bottom half would do it.
Gabbidon plays best in Upson's position, not on the right of Upson. He has also been out a long time. Not up to the job, I'm afraid.
Right-back is a serious problem.
Illunga looks shakey with no cover.
Da Costa and Tal Haim may have the answers for partnering Upson, but I guess they are not fit.
A proper right back is a must, no-one has done it since Neill left.
2042 - this is obviously written by HF so he can come up with his stock PC reply to deflect from all the recent accusations that his been posting BNP comments - shame on you.
ReplyDeletefrom the pic u can see green could not see where the ball would be hitted by elmander, cause his sight was bloked and at that time he had to move to a side, left or right, all based on instinct. and 99% goalkeepers will move to near post instead of the other one, is there anything wrong with that?
ReplyDelete@ T C - that was exactly what I was thinking, too. Greenys sight was blocked by the defenders so he had to change his position. No fault at all.
ReplyDelete10:13 Nope your wrong, nothing to do with HF. It was my observation which nobody would touch with a big stinking pole by the looks of it, except you of course. I yearn for the Cottee,McAvennie,Dickens,Ward,Stewart,Martin,Goddard,Devonshire,Orr and Parris of course!!! That does not make me a racist for wanting a team that plays with believe that they win against any team any time. We don't have that any more mmmmm wonder why??
ReplyDelete1809, what does playing with belief have to do with skin colour exactly? I may have missed the point here but i dont see a connection.
ReplyDeleteEven if the team is composed entirely of foreign nationals they would still want to play well to get into their respective nation squads, no?
11:45 Obviously not, no communication or leadership on the field. Certainly the lack of a common language must not help! There is no team togetherness, just a bunch of foreign nationals who look forward to their juicy paychecks week in week out. They have no idea what the claret and blue means to the fans or most mostly likely they don't give a damn!
