Gold On Match Of The Day 2

You can't help but like the guy can you? He lives in a Palace of Tack and drives a Rolls Royce but he does at least give the impression that he supports the club. If he doesn't, he deserves an Oscar! I loved his call for Boa to be replaced, only for Luis to play a big part in the goal. Good on Gold, he admitted his gaff and said, "The manager knows what he is doing".

Hansen and co were none too generous to him afterwards. That just shows how out of touch they are in my opinion. I loved it!

  1. I agree, genuine speaks from the heart and can admit a gaff.

  2. Tuned into talksport yesterday out of boredom, only to listen to Stan Collymore saying some young people on twitter had no respect. He read out a comment along the lines of, 'Stan, you've done nothing in your career yet you have an opinion on everyone else', to which he replied with a ten minute rant on his life and why he was so great. And I must say, it reminded me of you HF lol.

  3. Very interesting and very correct article in the Daily Mail.

This is exactly the thing that gets me with Spurs and its leadership. They have no morals and always try to gain something on us. Even when there is little chance of success or as in the case of Parker despite the controversy that such a move would raise.

How come Tottenham should move away from their base in North London and invade the territorial ground of West Ham in East London? The fact that they even try it (as a second option) is arrogant and audacious. That is why I will never be a Spurs sympathiser HF. They don't deserve it. They are scum!

  4. Agree with Hansen and Dixon. As a Chairman and fan he can make all the comments he likes privately, but you shouldn't be dissing your players (employees), like he did with Benni McCarthy, or criticising them like he did with Boa, publicly. It's not professional.

  5. But he didn't do that on MOTD Stani. When McCarthy came up the stairs, I half expected him to say "Well done Benni, you didn't need the stair lift today!" but he didn't. Nor did he pat Mr Blobby's tummy. Indeed, he was very decent asking, "How are you?" McCarthy looked a little taken aback it is true as if he was expecting a follow up of "Thinner I'm pleased to see"!

  6. Why shouldn't he criticise the players publically? He pays their bloody wages!

  7. You didn't listen to the rest did you HF? He made a sly remark about him looking thinner and that he could hardly see him. It was crass.

And your next comment you don't seriously believe yourself so should I really address it? Paying someone's wages does not give you the right to diss or criticise 'em in public. Especially when they have not addressed any issue with the person concerned in private first.

  8. He seems a nice bloke, and it's nice to see him speaking to his wife/partner about football tactics like the rest of us. Not that they give a toss...

  9. Did he? I missed that! Good on him! McCarthy is looking thinner! Gold didn't make McCarthy eat burgers and become a lard arse did he? McCarthy was unprofessional to allow that to happen and dereves public ridicule in my book.

Have you written to Noble, Upson and Green addressing your issues with them in private first? If not, aren't you being a tad hypocritical here?

  10. LOL T.I.S, it was written all over her face wasn't it? "What the fcuk are you talking about now you stupid seedy old man?"

So what Stani? What right have you got to criticise them therefore? Gold puts his money where his mouth is. If he offered to pay me £45k a week, I would live with public criticism!

  11. Because I am only a fan HF. I do not employ them of have any legal obligations towards them.

He is unprofessional. But I guess you dont have to be professional to make it in the adult industry eh?

Money where his mouth is? And we do not?

What you would accept for £45k is entirely a different subject matter HF. Plus, you'd probably retaliate in public and then he'd say something back...so on and so forth.
