I've just seen the bloody result! Not content with crashing out of the Gnat's Pee Cup to the mighty Northampton Town, Liverpool have sunk to their knees today and surrendered at home to racing certainties for the drop, Blackpool!
With Liverpool now sitting in the bottom three, this game now has to be seen as a relegation six pointer I suppose!
When this blog forecast that dark days were ahead for Liverpool, gobby Scousers came on in their droves and told me I didn''t know what I was talking about. Well where are you guys now? Checking maps to find out how to get to Bristol City and Swansea perhaps?
Yes we are bottom of the table, but we haven't played Blackpool at home yet guys!
Torres limped off injured AGAIN! Well, he would wouldn't he? Why would he want to play for this shower of crap? How long before Woy is shown the door? And as for Joe Cole, great choice to join Premiership title contenders Liverpool mate! And what about the penalty? How awful was that Johnson "tackle"?
I said Liverpool would be a mid table team this year. That is now looking optimistic!
I'm loving it. Just loving it!
Any Liverpool fans that have the misfortune of finding this blog - please do not judge West Ham or its supporters by this person. He has been disowned by the club and it's followers and is just an attention seeker.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
I am loving it too HF. And I don't feel at all sorry for Joe Cole. He proved himself to be a greedy idiot. I think we should be teaching our youngsters more than football when they are with us.
ReplyDeleteThis is what we need to change. The people that come out of our Academy have no loyalty and show no respect to the Club that made them. Something is very wrong here. If G&S can identify why this is so and find a cure for it, then we will become a truly great club.
A clue: I think we should be teaching them a lot more than football (including giving them some education and respect for human values) when they are teenagers. That is where they should seek for the answer.
im a west ham fan and im loving it to. speak for yerself whufc cos im with this blog on this won. scouse gits have ad this comin.
ReplyDeleteLOL Sav, teach them that Jesus saves, then they won't worry about what Green is doing on crosses.
ReplyDeleteYou are an idealist mate. These guys are not the brightest biscuits in the barrel and, earning megabucks corrupts even the most intelligent. You speak as a supporter; the players are earning a living. I have never been loyal to an employer. I have been head hunted in the past and I gladly took the extra money on offer.
There aren't many saints in the world, which explains why it was such a big deal when Pope Former Member of the Hitler Youth rocked up in Third World England to enrol Cardinal Have You Met My Boyfriend Newman into the ranks of Saints. Will he be the patron saint of homosexuals I wonder?
This is Anfield. Really? This is a stick of Blackpool rock. Sit on it!
ReplyDeleteBig mistake SACKING RAFA!!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL Rafa dug the grave!
ReplyDeleteMildly amusing though the current plight of the mickey mousers is, there can be few who seriously think they'll remain at the bottom for too long.
ReplyDeleteIt already seems clear to me that this season, there are a whole host of average clubs, of which we are one, who seem capable of picking up points, sometimes quite surprisingly. If that is so, it seems likely that unlike last season when there were two clear sub-standard sides and 30+ points was enough, this year we are likely to need the 40+ total that has been so revered by managers and players.
I'm happy that we've gained a win and 2 draws in our last 3 games but I am not happy that we go into the international break propping up the rest and, with the possible exception of Wolves, I am struggling to see just how many clubs are currently (or even potentially?)poorer than we are.
That is a worry. Blackpool are targeting 35 points. They will go down. So will Wigan. Third team? It's a worry!
ReplyDeleteIt's not a worry for me. Don't forget what happened to Hull. Second half of the season they absolutely crumbled. It's a very strange game when the fans of the team at the bottom are seeing some of the best football they've seen in ages, and the team just above them were champions league winners a few years ago. Our next is very big though, Wolves away will show the players character, and i'm hoping by losing their captain they'll lose an ounce of spirit and influence.
ReplyDeleteWhat insight!! First thing Hicks and Gillett have done right for the club, employing Woy, a man with great experience of the relegation battle (last year apart). Who says they don't care for the club!!
ReplyDeleteIt just reward to the little scouser ****s who broke into my car outside Anfield about a year ago to steal 50p and cost the British insurance industry a grand, a little bit more than what Liverpool will be worth to the Yanks in the Championship!!
Who knows maybe its Leeds Utd Mark 2!!
Some Liverpool fans can't see the funny side:
