Half Time West Ham 1 West Brom 1 - On the brink of going down!
Thank God for Scott Parker! Had we gone in at half time a goal down, there would have been no coming back: not in this game and not from relegation. I said yesterday that a defeat tonight means certain relegation, and that trap door inched open when Boa gave away a penalty by pushing Reid at a corner! First off, how can any decision be given for pushing or tugging at a corner? Everybody bloody does it! We don't get a penalty at Birmingham for an obvious shirt pull in open play, but in a crowded box, Boa is singled out! Bloody typical!
Look at the stats and you can see how crap we have been. West Brom have had more shots on goal, more shots on target and have had 51% of the play. Even the OS is calling our performance "poor" and "ridiculous". The Parker goal is a lifeline but it wasn't worked in any way - it was all down to Scotty's inspiration. Just imagine where we would be without Parker's goals! And I wanted to sell him! What a cnut as some say!
This really is the most vital 45 minutes since...well since the Wigan game last season! If we win, we will stay up; if we lose we will go down; if we draw, it will be a miracle if we survive! Blackpool's reserves are drawing at Villa, with Harewood scoring again! Three points are a must but if we play like we did in the first half, there's no chance! Tell me, how can we look so good for 70% of the game against Birmingham and so crap at home to an ordinary West Brom. Sort it out Avram - and fast! Will we see Obinna in place of Barrera at the start of the second half? Trouble is, who then replaces Dyer when he tires or limps off?
If Barrera and Dyer go off, we'd bring in Obinna and move Boa to the left, and unfortunately...without Noble, Behrami, Hitz, or Collison..we'd ahve to put in Kovac?! ...this is scary .
ReplyDeleteMonths ago, i agreed with your argument that we should sell Scott, and that he is not worthy of a contract signed only after transfer window closed.
ReplyDeletebloody hell, he really doesnt belong here---not a relegating team!
YES!!!! 2-1!!!! Perfect..perfect..perfect...let's hope we continue doing well.
ReplyDeleteYou've not been on the Org for a while Kareem mate. How's things?
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, things are just stressful here. I'm busy with lots of uni, since i've started double-majoring, and I've been very involved with extra-curricular stuff..so that occupies my time! I'm mostly active on the Org during match days! How are things going with you Fanno? :)
ReplyDeleteWife has been seriously ill and West Ham have looked terminal. Otherwise, life is good! Keep hard at it mate, the financial rewards will compensate in the long run!
ReplyDeleteOh no, I'm really sorry :( What's happened with your wife? Send her my regards. West Ham just conceded...put Obinna on...we keep relaxing after we're in a lead...this can't happen!!!
ReplyDeleteBloody useless *****!
ReplyDeleteWe've really missed Noble...and Diamanti just scored against Juve!!!
ReplyDeleteMcCarthy is on...according to the announcer, we've lost every game that McCarthy's played! Barrera should ahve passed that ball to Piquionne..this is madness
ReplyDeleteBarrera is not going to make it. McCarthy a total waste of money. We could have kept Ilan for nothing who could score goals, what is the matter with them?
ReplyDelete21:07 actually it works out on average to be about an extra 100,000k (according to latest statistics) over a life time of work - which when you consider graduates start their working career late means you earn less than 2.5k a year more than someone who went straight to work at 16.
ReplyDeleteHardly worth it I'd say, especially when you consdier there's more graduates than ever unemployed.... and it's harder to get on the employment ladder if you have no experience.
Graduates have high expections and when they don't get the jobs or salaries they expect they tend to end up feeling they've underachieved and are a failure.
Once again you get it royally wrong!
To begin TurdsOut! Kareem is from the Lebanon and is studying for his degree in the USA - your figures are for the UK.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, students can earn whilst studying, reducing the impact of lost salary.
Thirdly, too many students are currently educated to degree level. That may adjust back with the new changes.
Finally, the more you earn, the more you pay back and other costs ten dto be met by parents - mugs like me! It is an extended childhood. My 3 years at Uni were the best years of my life.
I'm 47 and the best year of my life is always the one I'm living in... but I'm a glass half full kind of guy so I doubt you'd understand.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I struggle to understand that because I can fill my glass whenever I like with whatever I like. That said, if you can't look back on a high point in your life, you must have lived a life without too many peaks.
