So, by their own admission, the Manchester derby was dire. No matter, it was still the first game up on the anomalously named Match of the Day. Never mind it is a Wednesday night, never mind that we have to work tomorrow and kids have to go to school, why show games on merit?
No, sod it. Make West Ham and West Brom fans stay up until gone 11.30 to see a 2-2 game with two penalty decisions and headline instead with one of the worst games ever played in the Premiership.
Bloody disgraceful. It shouldn't be allowed in this day and age!
To be fair the first half of our game was pretty dire.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, once you accept that this team will be relegated, these types of results are alot easier to take. Honestly, we deserved to be relegated last season, besides three or four players the playing squad isn't up to premiership standard. Perhaps relegation will force the club to clear out all the deadwood and start afresh with young blood that is willing to play for the shirt, because the current lot outside of a few don't look like they really care that much. Perhaps the clean break of championship football will force the hand of the owners and the club to start again and get it right.
stop moaning you prick. so what if west ham were one of the last games. i still would have watched it all even if west ham were on first. and ive got work tomorrow and my kids have got school.
ReplyDeleteSays a lot about your parenting skills and sense of priority. I bet your children struggle with capital letters the same as their father!
ReplyDeleteThe problem with going in the Championship with '£85m' in debt is exactly that. We will struggle to remain as a club and face several winding up orders me thinks. Still, nice thought that we will rid the deadwood :)
ReplyDeleteStaying up a little late one day during the week ain't exactly gonna kill you is it you knob.
ReplyDeleteIt could do, but that is not the point, it is the damage done to your children's education that I was hinting at.
