Oh dear God, what is it with West Ham Disunited? Can we never learn from experience? Stewart Robson, Don Hutchison, Dean Ashton, Craig Bellamy, Kieron Dyer, McBenni McCarthy, Hitlersburger...how many injury prone pups do we have to buy before the bloody penny drops? Yet another it seems, given we have signed Dembones Dembones Demdrybones Ba on a three and a half year deal! How much does a bed in a BUPA ward cost for 42 months exactly?
I trust there is something in the contract that covers us in the event of premature retirement. Hang on, what did I just say there? I trust? Trust? With the shower of shit currently in charge? With the shower of shit who have always been in charge for that matter?
Ba is an accident waiting to happen. He failed the Stoke medical and his knee will give out sometime and probably, given our luck, sometime very soon. Ladbrokes have opened a book already and if I was offering a spread bet, I wouldn't predict more than half a dozen appearances personally.
Ba Ba Black Sheep? Lamb to the slaughter more like!
he aint injury prone get it in to yout thick skull he has played over 90 games for hofenheim and was on a run of 24 consecutive appearences for them
ReplyDeleteCharming Fred. If you are going to call me thick, at least use some full stops! We will see. I hope you are right but I wouldn't stake a lot of money on him passing 50 appearances in the next three and a half years personally!
ReplyDeleteYou always put a pox, hex and a bok on us!
ReplyDeleteI don't think he was calling you thick HF, he was calling 'Yout' thick. I haven't seen much of Ba, but what I have seen he seems a very similar player to Carlton, surely we need a small quick finisher for Carlton or Piq to play onto? The fact he failed a medical at Stoke says a lot, and I remember seeing some reports of him failing our medical as well! Yet we've still signed him on a four year contract! Idiots! Hope we're wrong and he becomes the next Di Canio, but I fear that probably won't be the case!

sorry about that been in a very bad mood all day. i hope he dont get injured and on another note how is howard webb deemed mentally fit to ref a carling cup semi final after the world cup final
ReplyDeleteFanno if there is one thing we can rely on with these owners then it is their shrewdness with money. Therefore I expect we are well covered if anything does happen... Also I think Behrami deserves a place on your list.
ReplyDelete"Shower of shit"? I thought you broadly supported Gollivan?
ReplyDeleteInteresting article on KUMB where Peschisolido suggests West Ham were bought for £20 million. By coincidence I ran into my mate in the professional game and mentioned it to him. According to him, Gollivan view mathematics as more of a creative arts subject rather than a science and they certainly didn't pay what they have told us...allegedly.
So if there is mileage in Mr. Brady's comment it begs the question "was there an undisclosed deal in the purchase of the club?" Perhaps something relating to income from the sale of assets such as players? How much did we get for two of our better players, Diamanti and Daprela. Double dealing by businessmen? No, that doesn't happen does it?
The medical at Stoke involved Ba standing in front of the keeper & obstructing him & then jumping up and down in front of said keeper for 90 mins...after 10 mins,Ba said "Feck this, dont wanna play no more" so they failed him.
ReplyDeleteAs for Sullivan, what did you expect from a bloke that started his empire by advertising "Pictures of women with animals" then supplying a photo of some fully clad tart out walking her dog.."It's a woman with an animal, you got what you paid for, now jog on" We might find out about his dodgy dealings in his memoirs but get your mate to buy it first & check the contents.
There are appearance deals and I understand this is one of them./ If he don't play we don't pay. Cut the guys some slack.
