Every penny counts...

..another home tie in the Cup generates more cash. Not sure how the revenue is divided up. But 32,000 paying £15 equals the best part of half a million, and that is before the programmes, beer and burgers are purchased. We could have bought Sidwell on 50% of the gate receipts alone!

  1. Sky sports reported that they believed Sidwell went for £3.5 million. Before the transfer had collapsed I had it in my head that he was gonna cost us in the region of half a million. I wonder what the reason is for the massive difference in fee.

  2. Mark Hughes still has Man City's cheque book?

  3. Haha perhaps he does. I'm not sure that he's worth that much. Do you think we are struggling to find buyers for our squad? Also, what is your take on the Avram rumours. Until his alleged rant I would have put my house on him staying. If we have to sell to buy, which it appears we have to then surely we cannot afford to sack him.

  4. Not much of a rant was it? Maybe it will come in installments! The length of the initial contract is the puzzle to me.

  5. Haha well for the average bloke it ain't but for Avram it's a rant of epic proportions. Perhaps Avram talks a wonderful game and he's conned the owners. Personally I wouldn't put the blame at his door. But it's easier to replace one man than all those players that just don't seem to care. Especially when nobody wants to buy the swines.
