Parker Already in Bed with the Redknapps!

It didn't take him long did it? Parker was at Stamford Bridge today, as a personal guest of the Redknapps, checking out his team mates for next season.

At least Defoe had the decency to wait until the day after we were relegated to slap in his transfer request. Scotty had his release clause written into the mega contract he signed at the very last moment of last summer's transfer window and, four games before the season's end, is already taking steps towards leaving.

Mr West Ham? You guys make me die! Had Van der Vaart not come on to the market at such a cheap price, Parker probably wouldn't be a West Ham player now - as I have maintained all along; you can bet your house, your wife and your daughter on him not being in Claret & Blue next season, irrespective of whether we stay up or go down.

Remind me, don't we have a game in Manchester tomorrow? So why, exactly is Parker hobnobbing in London with the Redknapps on the evening before the game? Even if he isn't playing - and I'm sure 'Arry will be warning him not to take any risks with his injury - as Brady's Captain Elect, shouldn't he be with the rest of the squad showing moral support?

Did 'Arry present him with the Player of the Year award on the pitch before the game?

  1. 100% agreed, HF. As I said a few minutes ago on the other post, it is reprehensible of Parker to be there. And under no circumstances should we sell him to Spurs. Take less money and sell him to Arsenal just to rub it in. And wouldn't this be tapping up of some sort????

And I highly doubt we will ever see Parker in a West Ham shirt again. He will miss the rest of the year and then be off.

    I'm disgusted.

  2. Where have you got this information from?

  3. Not just Parker. We shouldn't be doing any business with either Harry or Spuds.

  4. 23:25. They showed Parker on TV with Jamie, and the announcer (may have been Ian Darke but I/m not sure) said they were guests of 'Arry. I didnt get any info. It was blasted to the whole world.

Sav, you are right. And oddly, so was Duxbury.

  5. That is amazing he must have been in two places. He was on the bus at Chadwell Heath at 1:00pm travelling up to Manchester when we saw him ?

  6. You can't blame him. He has busted his ass for the club since arriving and what has he got in return? Nothing. His wages, yes, but the same wages that other players are on. And he has shown more dedication to the club than anyone else.

I would rather have a player that puts in 100% week in, week out, but jumps ship when we get relegated, than someone who has been at the club for years and doesn't put in the effort.

Scott Parker is a great player, has given everything to the club, and is better than the Championship. How can a Championship player be first-choice midfielder for England?

  7. 09:31. Why were you at Chadwell Heath? Or should I ask....who are you?

  8. 13:38. I think you are missing the point. I agree completely that he has every right to leave if we go down. He probably has every right to leave even if we stayed up because it's so dysfunctional at West Ham. Most fans would agree aa well.

But for him to go to that game, with all of the speculation he knows would accompany it, while we are in a relegation fight, is wrong. And if he were so dedicated to us he should have known that.

Although I am still more than a little curious about the phantom writing in that he was at Chadwell.

  9. he has a relegation release clause in his contract so all this nonsence about not selling him to spurs is pointless. if spurs meet the release clause fee then west ham dont have a choice

  11. I can reveal that last Saturday evening Scott Parker was at an NDubz concert in Bournemouth rather than at Stamford Bridge. Isn't Harry Redknapp a resident of this area?

  13. I was delivering Upsons boots that he had forgotten and he was defo with the squad, as ever HF makes crap up to try and justify long held unjustified views! Lies lies and HF opening his mouth!

  14. But Parker was on TV sat next to Redknapp wasn't he? So Upson forgot his boots. Where did you collect them from? Did they have the Yellow Pages tucked inside them?
