If Tomkins is fit enough for the bench, why is Gabbidon starting? The team looks like 4-3-3 to me again, with Ba stranded out on the left. Why when we need goals? Is Carlton going to take the half chances that fall to him in the box?
It may be a 4-4-2, with Boa on the left, Sears on the right and Hitz and Specs in midfield but I doubt it. Almost certainly, Hitz is anchoring in a 4-5-1, 4-3-3 formation which means we lose his goal scoring ability further up the field.
My worry is that we will be vulnerable at set pieces and will struggle to score with this team. This is Grant's team to win the most important game in the club's history:
Green
Jacobsen, da Costa, Gabbidon, Bridge
Hitz
Spector, Boa-Morte
Sears Ba
Cole
exactly what has gabbidon done to deserve to merit a place and i would rather have tomkins over da costa anyway so grant is a clueless cnut
ReplyDeletePlain and simple: Grant is a CU*T. No other word for it.
ReplyDeleteA team of internationals: A spine of Green (england goalkeeper), Upson(who is also a CU*T and would prefer tomkins at cb), Parker (writers player of the year) and Cole (has so much potential) should not be where we are.
Grant says it because its the sqaud he took over. He had money in jan and spent well. Ba is a quality signing.
If he just played the right formation: 4-4-2 rather than a 4-3-3 we would not be where we are. We are leaking goals, and a 4-4-2 would help protetc the back four.
Usless CU*T. If we do stay up, blackburn just scored now (withouth parker I can not see a comeback unfortuantley (please prove me wrong)), Grant should be sacked anyway. Why would we keep a manager who has been in the relagation zone for 2 seasons, and couldnt win anything with an amazing chelsea side!
thought ba was down the middle make your mind up.
ReplyDeletei hope coles proving my point stani cole is a usless cnut hes lazy doesnt challenge in the air or on the ground and he cant score to save his life
ReplyDeleteHow is that Fred? You're talking nonsense! Looking into something that just was not there.
ReplyDeleteWhat about the open goal Keane missed? If that was Cole you'd be going on about it
The only thing Grant is good at, is keeping his job and paypacket, when it comes to football he is totally clueless.
