encouraging to see that sam is giving the youngsters right run out in the pre season- he may have no choice given the paltry state of the coffers but there seems to be a whole team of youngsters being tried out and given an opportunity - based on no more intelligence than a feeling it does seem we have a large cadre of likely lads about now - which is more desireable three or four potential england players that get sold after a year or so or half a dozen decent club pros that give the squad genuine depth? hope is a terrible thing!
oh God NOoooo. Does this mean that we'll be treated to a proliferation of the 'Cole is a confidence player and just needs to feel wanted and loved' muppets again?
