Early Pace Setter in TGGC Fantasy League

Congratulations to Bradford Hammer for setting the early pace in The Games Gone Crazy Fantasy League with an epic total of 31 points already. The two Kevs - Phillips and Nolan - are the stars of the show for BH so far with 6 points apiece, with Sordell chipping in another 4. Hopefully the Watford man will not add to his total in the next game though!

Meanwhile, at the opposite end of the table, Bunting's Babes are performing like a traditional West Ham team with just 5 points banked so far. Quite what induced the selection of Noble and no other West Ham players, only "Mr Bunting" will be able to explain. Will Noble take penalties this season? If so, he may yet come into his own. Only three players have scored positively for the team so far, and one of those plays for Millwall! Dear God man, how could you select a Millwall man in your team?

There's a big mid table covered by a handful of points at this stage and, annoyingly, Stani's team are sitting in a play off place. How I will hate it if his side finishes above mine!

  2. You haven't got the wooden spoon mate, that "honour" goes to Mr Bunting. You have a magnificent 12 points but you are six behind me!

  3. Doohoohahahaaaa

You and Fred should have been forced to pick Noble, HF! It would only have been fair!

You're lucky I started a new job and aint got much time or I'd be caning it! Bane of your life, I am.

  4. What you get up to in the privacy of your own home is entirely up to you mate but boasting about caning it on here is out of order - kids may be reading this blog!

All I will say at this stage is that it is a long season. Avrams Avengers will take one game at a time. Early pace setters often run out of steam and we are playing the long game. Let's see who is where come next May shall we? ; )

  9. Fred, I didn't even mention Parker! And you're not giving Noble enough credit because you didn't pick him! I thought you'd be champing at the bit to do so. Don't rate him Fred? ;)

  10. Odd, yesterday I had 20 points and was at 13th place - today I have 16 and have dropped to 19th - what's that all about?

  11. Check your break down of players scores TurdsOut! It is probably down to adjustments following the Sunday games but I'm not sure. Glad to note that you are now beneath me in the table! You are another one who I would "love, really love", to quote King Kev, finishing above. Mind you, look what happened to Newcastle after that Keegan outburst!

  12. Stop shouting my name guys...it's unnerving.

Right Turds, I've had a butcher's... it must be like HF suggested. They are able to change things afterwards if they deem an assist as not one or a goal as an own goal etc

Long way to go yet though so worry not. Things are no way near settling down...HF's still yet to prop up the table.
