Parker to Man City

Surely it's too good to be true? £8m wouldn't represent a problem to Unreal City, in fact they would probably double it if they felt they really needed him - and nor would Parker's wages. The proposed part exchange deal wasn't ever going to work because of the salaries of the players involved but if Bellamy were to be offered on loan as part of the equation, that would be a different matter, especially if we could persuade the more money than sense City to pay his wages whilst he was on loan to us.

  1. If we could get Bellamy and SWP plus Boyata on loan I would cry with joy. The pace we could add to the team with the first two and the class at the back of Boyata would near enough ensure we go up imo. I would also like us to get a big strong sitting midfielder aswell because Noble is a cancer in the midfield that needs to be cut out asap so Etuhu from Fulham or even Papa Bouba Diop (apparently we're giving him a trial) would do. Imagine this team:

    Green

    O'Brien Faye Boyata McCartney

    SWP Nolan PBD/Etuhu Taylor

    Cole Bellamy

Not bad for a championship team hey?

  2. and you seemed to have forgot Tomkins who has been our best player this season..Replace Faye with Tomkins and then you have a team..

  3. I don't want to see SWP in our shirt, it would be a disgrace after what he did to our Ashton.

Faubert looked good against Leeds, better keep him. I don't think it would work if we get to many players that haven't been playing with each other.

  4. Looks pretty jon but the wages make that an impossible equation.

HF what did you think about Nolan raising the possibility of Barton coming on free? Yes been trouble in the past w west ham but w Nolan, Barton is calmer and more collective. Can't argue w what he could offer on a free!!
