Oh dear. QPR fans came so smug upon the mart when I warned that over confidence down to a goodish start would prove dangerously premature (http://thegamesgonecrazy.blogspot.com/2011/09/qpr-beware.html). I warned that the fate of Blackpool should be noted after their brilliant start to last season and pointed to Warnock's ability to turn safety into catastrophe based on our Great Escape season.
The Rs fans turned into GRRRR fans in response as a stream of abusive insults were posted. A taster is carried below:
"You twat,get over it mate your where you are because you were crap last year. We made Wolves look poor today by the fact we passed it round them for fun and we'd do the same to you. Tool."; and
We should have beaten Newcastle comfortably. We should have beaten Wigan if the truth be told, and we're certainly better than a lot of teams right now. Concentrate on your own club - even the bookies understand that we're not likely to go down now. We're playing excellent football and now the goals are going in. Wolves underestimated us, as will a number of clubs before we're through with them. Beware my arse!" and;
"You are a complete arse - what is your problem? you really need your brain looked at as something is just not right, I'd say you have a screw lose - maybe two." and best of all...
"Which promoted team has the best chance of staying up this season? 4652 votes since Sat 17 Sep. Answer Result Percentage Number of votes: Swansea City 13% 584 votes. Norwich City 11% 498 votes. QPR 77% 3570 votes."
Hmmm. Norwich and Swansea are now BOTH ABOVE QPR in a very mediocre Premiership. QPR stand a massive 3 points above a relegation place and have the third worst goal difference in the division. The point at home to Villa was lucky and Everton were still half asleep when Warnock's Hula Hoops stole the points at Goodison Park. Shave off those points and you see the true picture. DJ Campbell was relegated last season with Blackpool and Joey Barton went down with Newcastle. It's one thing to lose at Chelsea or Man Utd but to ship six goals at little old Fulham is absurd. Dear God, even Grant managed to take 3 points at Craven Cottage last season!
Reality bites doesn't it guys?
LOL. Light the blue touchpaper and stand back!
ReplyDeleteWhy are we still discussing QPR exactly?
ReplyDeleteWow. You're such a bell end! Firstly our win at Craven Cottage last season was the most unconvincing, undeserved victory I've ever seen and secondly it's still early days, every team gets battered every now and again. Do you not remember when Reading tore us a new ass hole a few years back beating us 6-0? Awful post, same old 'look I was right' post even though you're not (yet)!
ReplyDeleteI do remember, and we needed a Great escape and Warnock's help to avoid relegation!
ReplyDeleteBecause I want to Sav.
ReplyDeleteFunny the way the GRRRs have gone quiet all of a sudden!
ReplyDeleteHeh, we even beat Fulham over at their place last season!
ReplyDeleteloving it Sticking it up the R's
ReplyDeleteTALKING ABOUT QPR AGAIN !!!
