QPR to buy Canesten to cure a worrying itch in the Bush.

I warned before the game that this was a shit or bust fixture for QPR, and have been advising caution about Warnock's charges supposed "good start" to the season for a couple of weeks now. Rs fans have become GRRR fans each time I have posted, but the 1-1 draw today at home to hopeless Blackburn may just pull them up a bit and make them think.

QPR may still be in tenth position but they have now played four fixtures at home without achieving a single victory; and they haven't exactly been tough games so far. Defeat at home to Bolton and draws against Blackburn, Villa & Newcastle isn't good enough. You don't survive in the Prem if you can't win at home, as we Hammers fans know only too well.

True QPR have won twice on the road - at Wolves and Everton - but the next time they travel, that 6-0 hammering at Fulham will be fresh in their minds; and Tottenham, Stoke, Norwich and Liverpool are no mugs on their own dung heaps. They will all be targeting 3 points against a wounded QPR side who host Chelsea and Man City in their next two home games into the bargain.  It could be a very bleak and cold November for Warnock's boys and suddenly the failure to capitalise on a kind fixture list at the start of the season may start to dawn.

As things stand, QPR are just four points off bottom spot, and they haven't played any of the Premiership bully boys yet. Warnock, of course, is proving true to form. If he isn't going to start flair players like Buzsaky and Taarabt against Blackburn at home, when is he going to select them? Blackburn were there for the taking today, second from bottom in the table, led by a lame duck manager and arriving on the back of a 4-0 home thumping. But Warnock packed his team with the familiar journeymen, trusting effort over ability, and deservedly paid the price.

As usual, Big Gob is blaming a defensive error for the failure to collect 3 points but the problem is at the other end. QPR have managed two goals in four home games and if you take out the three scored at Wolves, just three in seven matches. You don't win games if you don't score goals and who in the QPR starting line up today threatens to score a bag full of goals in the Prem? Again, this is something we know about at West Ham; and the news that D J Campbell has broken a metatarsal and is out for 8 weeks aint going to help matters is it?

It's about to get very hot and inflamed down at the Bush. Expect to see Warnock trying to buy Canesten in the January window, if Fernandes hasn't sacked him by then!

  1. YOU NEED TO GIVE UP TALKING ABOUT QPR AND THE PREMIER LEAGUE.LET IT GO YOU WILL FEEL BETTER ONCE YOU ACCEPT YOUR TEAMS POSITION. What a sad West Ham fan when your web site is supposed to be about West Ham and if you look at the past stories all you talk about is QPR, Why don't you talk about West Ham and there rivals in The Championship. When people look at your site they must laugh at you. Even West Ham fans think your a joke. We are the SUPPER HOOPPPSSSSA!

  3. Our position is second in the table which, if we stay there, will see us bounce back to the Prem whilst you slide back into the Championship. Check the side bar, there's plenty of articles about West Ham.

  4. Wanderers mate, as in Bolton Wanderers. Irony my friend. It will go over your head of course. A bit like Samba at a corner!

  5. Why don't you talk about the financial problems West Ham are in. Its all gone quite about that. This was before they got relegated, If they don't come back up first time West Ham are in Sh#t creak without a padel.

  6. Your totally right if you stay where you are you will go up and if we stay where we are we will stay up. I don't see your point so early into the season. The difference between you and me is that i am quite happy to see West Ham come back up, But its eating you up to see us in the Premier League above you.

  7. Dear God, the schools in Shepherds Bush are worse than those in Essex! Why can't you lot spell? No wonder you abbreviate the club name to QPR, otherwise fans would be wearing scarves boasting Queers Parked Ravers! No wonder you were shafted when you went to the Cottage! Is George Michael a fan perhaps?

  8. My ideal scenario would be for Warnock to be sacked and for QPR to survive actually.

  9. You must spend a lot of your time on this web site, You wouldn't be single by any chance and do a bit of plane spotting in your spare time?

  10. Leave QPR alone, why do you hate Warnock so much?

  11. Your stories seam to always have a go at us, Its not healthy for you and it doesn't look good for West Ham as your only turning people against them.

  12. You seem to spend a lot of time here too. Enjoyed a day looking in on the blog whilst watching horse racing (and winning) and football(and winning). Sorry, for all you QPR fans, the word winning can be found in all good dictionaries.

  14. I have made my point and i have a life to get on with, so i will leave you to it in Box room at your mums house with your airfix model kits and toy soldiers to keep you company. Piece of advise there you need to let QPR go there is more to life than thinking about a team in a different league. Its Saturday Night ,go out with some friends maybe meet some girls. That will soon take your mind off us. If you don't have any friend to go out with you can always look at a dating agency on line.Good luck mate no hard feelings.

  15. Does your dislike of Neil Warnock mean that you see your life's work as unfulfilled if you do not stick your nose into Q.P.R.'s business. Whilst you are correct that Q.P.R must beat teams such as Blackburn, many of the points you make are nonsense. Before the new owners Warnock had a net budget of 750,000 then had one week to get new players. Taarabt has been telling everyone for months that he wants to leave so starting him on the bench was not unreasonable. Your other example was Buzsaky who has been carrying an injury for some time. Probably best to stick to West Ham, you are in a league that is very difficult to get out of. Something Warnock managed to do with some ease.

  16. Last season you didn't mention QPR now were in the Premier League and your in the Championships it looks like all you talk about is QPR. This is not about Warnock its all about Jealousy that a local rival is moving in the right direction as your Beloved West Ham are in Financial ruin. (sorry to all other WEST HAM fans ,its just that this guy that calls himself a west ham fan is really upsetting a lot of QPR fans and i suppose WEST HAM FANS) Good luck West Ham i hope you come back up!!

  17. Im a Hammers Fan and why the fudge do I want to read about QPR!? I come on here to read about the irons not Rangers! all the best to rangers staying up but lets talk about our own club please!

  18. There is no reason to write about QPR. If you have a blog intended for the use to write about West Ham, then do it. Or is there nothing interesting happening at your club?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Ricky, don't. Just read the West Ham threads. There's many more of those. I've just decided to follow QPR's fortunes in the Prem during our holiday in the Championship. It's somethiing to do with Warnock, Fernandes, Dyer, Gabbidon and Anton.

  20. I despise you with a venom you couldn't begin to imagine.

  21. 2132, I did mention QPR last season, when you didn't pick up a huge fine for breaching Third Party rules. Given Warnock called for West Ham to be relegated over the Tevez affair, the irony was not lost on me!

  22. You see even your West Ham Supporters are fed up with your QPR comments. Your not just following QPRs fortune because all you do is write negative comments. I don't even want to call you a West Ham fan as you are an insult to the good fans that follow the club.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Look, what is untrue in this thread? I'm simply presenting the facts. There's an old saying,, "Don't shoot the messenger". What do you QPR fans disagree with in this thread?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Why would you waste your time in offering your inane, banal opinions about QPR, as if it would, in any way interest any of your fellow Irons. Oh, baby...do you need to get a new hobby...or maybe show a bit more interest and passion about your own team...like what a great job big Sam's doing, and the likelihood that you'll be welcome at Loftus Road next season.

  25. I’ve been a rangers fan since i was born, my best mate and business partner is hammers fan. I have never experienced one bit of rivalry between our clubs. For some reason i keep reading articles on this site all about QPR and your wishes to see us fail, every QPR fan I know wanted you to stay up. In all honesty i would love you back in the prem so that we could play you and end your little world of frustration. You may have some weird and wonderful hang up with Warnock that in some way i understand but you need to move on. Get a life mate, don’t think because you comment on or run this website that you are correct because not one person on any of your QPR 'blogs' agrees with you. Listen to everyone and give it up, you are coming across very bitter and jealsous. PS.. Are you a secret Chelsea fan?

  26. hf good post though its a bit wasted on those ungrateful poxy qpr fans there going down and we are going up and there mamager is a right merchant banker lol

  27. The thing is Bush Ranger, this thread currently sits at number 5 on the most read articles on the News Now board so people have chosen to open it more than most of the others. Why is that? Are Rangers fans so stupid that they believe Canesten is a player and don't understand the Thrush joke? Or do most Rangers fans have the ability to read a thread and understand that it is making fair criticism? 15 QPR fans have replied to this thread. A hell of a lot more Rangers fans have read it!

(By the way, does a Bush Ranger safeguard the crabs? Are you thin on the ground in Brazil?)

  28. Top of of the Prem (10th this morning) or in the Championship.

I know where I'd rather be.

West Ham have lost at home to Ipswich, Aldershot and Cardiff, so a home draw against Blackburn doesn't look so bad.

Never mind where we are next season, we'll enjoy this season. With another transfer window in the January and an owner who's willing to invest in the furure of the club, I think QPR have enough to stay up.

I suspect West Ham may have their traditional post-Christmas meltdown, but will do enough to make the play-offs.

That's a lottery and if you don't win it, well, who knows what will happen next year. If the club is as badly run as some say, you could end up 'doing a Portsmouth'.

I really enjoyed our years in the Championship - most were spent fighting relegation. I still think it's the most exciting league there is.

Warnock (with support from Bhatia, once the meddling Briatore was sidelined) took us from relegation fodder to Champions in one season and spending very little. A bit like Big Sam, but with more footballing nouse, wit and a smile on his face these days.

PS - loved the 'itch in the Bush' analogy ;o)

hilarious - talk about touching a nerve. keep up the good work perhaps you can turn your eye onto a another sensitive bunch of vaguely literate supporters..Liverpool perhaps? Still I like the R's and hope they stay up!

  31. Ashdown - not Paddy presumably - I would rather West Ham were in the Prem than in the Championship, obviously. But that isn't the point here, with respect. The point is, you have achieved a below par number of points from your opening fixtures so far and diffcult times lie ahead. The failure to score goals is a huge problem and, from what I saw on MOTD last night, you would have had few complaints had Blackburn left with all 3 points - they had the better chances. Warnock is moaning about the Samba goal, but yours came because Blackburn made a hash of clearing a corner. What did you create from open play? If I was a Rangers supporter - and despite Warnock and Fernandes and Dyer and Gabbidon I want you to stay up - I would be worried!

Cheers for the more considered response!
