Pathetic! If we can't find a way to beat the bottom team at home, I mean really, what is the point? Even Avram would not have been so clueless. Totally agree with Stani, bizarre substitutions indeed. What was he after, ensuring that we don't score and keeping the 0-0?!!! I rather lose a game by trying to win it.
What ever happened to the stiff upper lip? you really are yellow livered - get a grip man. 5 posts because we drew a game? thank god it's nothing important, I can't imagine what it would be like sharing a trench with you in a war. You'd be off and back to your mummy in the blink of an eye. Luckily, when it counted the men of this country were made of sterner stuff in 39-45.
Booing your own team is never acceptable in my book. OK it wasn't the best performance, and far from ideal but we didn't even loose. Negative support is hardy productive is it?
12:40 well done sir! you've hit the nail on the head. Disgraceful performance by our supporters, and negativity as we all know only breeds negativity.
09:26 you are also of course right cowardly constant criticism doesn't help either and with September 11th only around the corner I understand you sentiments entirely.
1657, you obviously were not at the game. Had you been, you would have understood that the booing realted to Allardyce's tactical ineptitude. The substitutions were utterly crass.
What constitutes a shot on target? The ball dribbling to James counts. A header staight at him counts. But Sears' shot against the post doesn't. It is a stupid stat. How many "saves" did James have to make rather than simply collect the ball? How many of those saves stretched him? And, most importantly, how many goals were scored? Those are the stats that really count!
Bizarre substitutions, I must say
ReplyDeleteDidn't we beat Bristol City in the Cup last season 5-0, with arguably a worse squad? Or was it Barnsley? One of the two.

ReplyDeleteThe sooner Allardyce goes the sooner I can get back to watching West Ham play

ReplyDelete19 attempts on goal and 10 on target tells a different story.
ReplyDeleteJust checked, was 5-1 against Burnley.

ReplyDeleteNegativity breed negativity, how very true.... and also horrendously classless as well.
ReplyDeleteOh hf can you confirm we had 10 shots on target seeing as you were there?
