What a dream day for the Rs! Many more like this and I will start to believe that they can establish themselves in the Prem despite Warnock, Anton, Gabbidon and Dyer! First ten minutes it was one way traffic according to the radio commentary I was listening to, and when Stoke went ahead, I thought it was curtains - a three goal tonking!
But amazingly not only did the Rs equalize, they dominated Stoke and would have netted four but for a disallowed goal. Amazing stuff!
And meanwhile, Blackburn and Wigan slit each other's throats, Bolton lost and Sunderland and Fulham also shared the spoils. With Swansea, Norwich and Wolves losing too, all QPR's Christmases came on one wonderful Saurday.
Not looking at the bottom now, just peering down from the heady heights! They will be cock a hoop in the Bush tonight!
why do you care so much about qpr??? this is ment to be a hammers site yes or no???
ReplyDeletewest ham are absolute scum

ReplyDeleteWEST HAM ARE SCUM SCUM SCUM
ReplyDeleteHumming-Hammock like Hammersmith in a Hummer.
ReplyDelete"And meanwhile, Blackburn and Wigan slit each other's throats"
Refreshing and very funny.
Category: Dark comedy.
no this is a hammers knocking site..
ReplyDeletetheres more anti west ham on here than on the millwall fan site
What a shameful reaction from QPR fans. Previously there has been the excuse that I have been "knocking" the Rs whilst writing my honest opinion, there's no excuse here is there.
ReplyDeleteThank you this the nicest post u have wrote about QPR I like your opinions you say how u see it! Good luck to the hammers for the rest of season.
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to like you. Two decent posts on the hoops in a week what's going on? I think you're becoming a closet ranger. Still think were gonna be fighting at the wrong end of the come may but we can dream of a Europa league spot can't we?
ReplyDeleteLike I always maintained, I am being honest about QPR, my "adopted" Premiership team whilst we are in the Championship. I admit to an ambivalent position: I want QPR to stay up because of Bowles, Francis, Thomas, Given, Parkes, Sexton and company, and because you are a decent club punching above your weight; but at the same time, I want Warnock, Fernandes, Dyer and Gabbidon to get bloody noses. Swap shirts and all QPR fans would feel the same about those four. And then, of course, there is Barton, hated by all decent people because of his foul behaviour off the pitch.
ReplyDeleteSo, I will say it how I see it. My ideal would be for QPR to do well but for Dyer to total 20 minutes all season and for Gabbidon to put through his own net half a dozen times. I want Fernandes to turn out to be a fraud too. My problem with Warnock is that I hate him because of his role in the Tevez affair, but I like him as a passionate man. So I think I can live with him gaining kudos at QPR.
Anyway, it was a great day for QPR yesterday and it was good that football got the better of Stoke's bludgeoning style. Dear God, am I lauding Warnock as a professor of the arts of the beautiful game? That's what having Allardyce as a manager does to you!
Anyway, to those Rs voicing approval, thanks. I'm not the complete cnut you thought me to be it seems!
No, really, you are a complete cnut.
ReplyDeleteLOL Fair enough. Just rub that knotty bit on my forehead eh? Oh yes, that's good, that's very, very good. Oh don't stop, oh yes, yes, yes, yes!
ReplyDeleteNice article there. I've not commented before but as a Ranger I've taken a keen interest in your blog, which I enjoy even if I dont agree with everything you write.
ReplyDeleteWhy the hatred for Fernandes though? He wanted West Ham but your guys didn't want to know. So far with us he's been the perfect chairman. Open, fairly free with his cash & superb at generating a feel (very) good factor. He's ticked every box a supporter could wish for.
Have I just ansered my own question?
WE R QPR
i like your blogs specially this one - the best so far.. chelsea are the scum not u lot
ReplyDeleteTiming Stan. He launched his Twitter bid to buy West Ham on the day we announced Allardyce as manager. Lot of hot air so far. Let's see how much money is really available in January.
ReplyDeletewe have suffered for over 15 yrs - no money,2 deaths, relagations, guns in the boardroom, near bankruptcy and the embarrasing managerial merry-go-round by flavio briatore, it really could'nt get worse...but to have an owner like fernandes [who i believe really did want to buy u as first choice] gives us optimism we havnt had since before we sold sir les to spurs. we have always sold every decent player we had...hopefully now things will change Having being away for so long, every game now is massive for us and the players and fans are relishing the excitement of the prem league..... I expect you guys to be back next term,so your pain will be shortlived. Big sam has made u more organised and harder to beat-sometimes not pretty, but as long as u get back up thats all that counts?
