With the Rhodes bid coming to a dead end and Sharp rejecting Leicester, expect Allardyce to swoop for Billy Boy and to take Hell Hadji too, now the spitting demon has achieved full match fitness with Doncaster.
Sharp will offer the promise of goals and is available at a price that will enable Allardyce to offload him in the summer after promotion is achieved. Diouf, meanwhile, has yet to sign for Doncaster and would jump at the chance of a contract until the end of the season and the opportunity to prove himself worthy of an extended deal, and another stab at the Premiership; and he would provide an attacking alternative to Taylor for the left flank.
The purists won't like it, but Doctor Evil won't care about that! Both Sharp and Diouf will suit his pragmatic agenda perfectly, and leave him with money to spare to add a younger, more exciting striker if one can be sourced.
sign em up sam
ReplyDeleteI thought Diouf just signed an 18 month deal?
ReplyDeletea good plan to me.
ReplyDeleteDon't think so Stani. Last I heard, he had declined to do so.
ReplyDeleteI saw it on sky HF. Unless he changed his mind. But they interviewed him and Saunders and it seemed as if it was a done deal.
ReplyDeleteHF must becoming increasingly frustrated with us winning and must be wondering when we will reproduce the form we had throughout the whole of last season. If we don't start losing a few games I'll reckon he'll go mental and have full on psychotic episode.
ReplyDeleteSorry to burst your bubble old cock, but Diouf recently signed a 18 month contract keeping him in Doncaster till the end of the 2012-13 season.
ReplyDeleteMore embarrassing attempts at scaremongering.
I hope he has because I don't want him. But I've heard Allardyce is in for him. perhaps there is a release clause allowing him to go on a free if a club comes in for him? IF the contract was signed.
ReplyDeleteHF you're a joke. Pathetic excuse of a man. Possibly in need of a mental health checkup.
ReplyDeletedidn't Sam have the chance of diouf but due to fans decided against it (sorry, drunk)
ReplyDeleteDiouf has not signed an 18 month contract! Saunders says they can't agree wages in his post-match interview with sky sports.
ReplyDeleteHe put it down to fitness issues Emlyn. It was due to the fans' campaign IMO, but I suspect the fans would now tolerate it. The fans are tolerating the shit football after all!
ReplyDeleteRich, I would seriously worry about my mental health if I went on to the internet and abused people I do not know, just because they express their opinion on football. Maybe you reflect the evils of our modern society or maybe you should consider a visit to the doctor yourself, I am not qualified to comment. But ask yourself, why are you so angry and bitter about someone else's opinion? That doesn't seem normal to me.
0945, that's the way I understood it.
01:18 you don't seem to listening - he has SIGNED. It's even on Wikipedia which is slightly more reliable than your usual source the Daily Mail.
ReplyDeleteHow exactly can the fans express a lack of toleration of the team's football style? Boo and jeer a consistently winning team, sitting joint top on points with the best defensive and away records?
ReplyDeletelets get it straight, we have been forced to put our principles on hold this season because promotion is more important than playing stylish football. It's a fact we need goal scorers, Diouf my be a bridge too far though...
ReplyDeleteNO WAY! Diouf and David Gold knows that from the majority of us!
ReplyDeleteBut that's not what Saunders told Sky. Manager or Wikipedia 11.15?
ReplyDeleteYou've put the fear of god into me that much that I had to take a look at Donny rovers official site and god help us the only post relating to scumbag el hadji is that he has agreed in principal to sign an extension. That was mid December and nothing since then so please god let's hope it's true that he has signed. Billy sharp I would like to see get a chance but diouf would just be too hard to stomach. I think I'd rather have Neil warnock in charge than see that scumbag on the field of play for us
ReplyDeleteSo Sharp is hankering for a bid from the Hammers? Diouf has a West ham escape clause in his new contract? If Sharp was any good wouldn't there be premiership clubs sniffing round in this window? If Baldock was purchased with the future in mind and Sharp is also lined up for our Premiership survival campaign the future is not orange, it's very dark and we've been there too many times in recent seasons. Diouf is a hideous individual and his signing will alienate a huge section of our support. It's a NO from me and 25,000 others.
ReplyDeleteSam, suposedly has 20 targets on his list. Hardly morale inspiring for the current crop.
Us purists are in hibernation waiting for the arrival of sunshine football. It could be a long wait.
sign sharp up he is a good scorer that what we need a guy who put ball in the net dont want diouf got enought people in that area
