QPR Pienaared off and running out of options.

Another day, another fruitless bid. Yesterday it was Samba, today Pienaar, tomorrow Alex. Not surprisingly, players are reluctant to join QPR in 17th place in the Premiership, and clubs are not happy to deal on the basis of QPR signing now and paying later.

The latest rumour centres are Muntari who, it seems, may join the Hoops on loan. It's not exactly Tevez, but he could do a job, if there is any truth in the rumour. And, of course, there wouldn't be a transfer fee involved!

Rs fans are feeding off of the excitement of window shopping at the moment. We could have a Pienaar, an Alex, a Samba and a Tevez. Well we can all dream as we walk around a Porshe showroom can't we? But when it comes to having the funds...well that's another matter.

Mind you Beard did say to expect nothing to happen for a couple of weeks, so who knows? The trouble is, with clubs obliged to operate with maximum squad sizes of 25, there aren't a lot of surplus players sloshing around. Even the deal to sign the distinctly average Onuoha looks to be on hold due to the suspension of Kompany.

And that's why 'Arry won't let Pienaar go - he knows that qualification for the Champions League is worth far more than QPR can afford to play for the former Toffee. 'Arry may only have started the South African 5 times so far, but that doesn't mean he won't get more game time before the season ends as key matches come thick and fast just as muscles and joints begin to ache.

Of course, the situation is complicated by the Africa Cup of Nations. A huge chunk of players are both off the market and out of the reckoning for selection, making clubs even more reluctant to trim their squads still further.

All of which means that Fernandes can show intent without much chance of having to sign a cheque. But window shopping can be fun, can't it?

I'm off to West Ham blog.

  9. this is become an obsetion for you HF ,you think more about QPR than most QPR fans, why dont you start supporting QPR or maybe u do already. Teams wont release players because they know QPR have money and are looking for a better price even you with your half a brain cell should know that.

    ReplyDelete
  10. It's true of course, it is boring in East London. What do you expect with Allardyce in charge? Mind you, West Ham threads are still outnumbering QPR threads on a ratio of 4 to 1. Don't like the QPR threads, don't read them. Simple.

Cheers Stanley, great to see the tribute to one of the greatest players ever to play in England!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Then pay more money. Simple. We made the same mistake under Eggert & Turds, shouting about how much we had to spend, and we ended up buying crap at inflated prices on wages that all but bankrupted the club. Be warned!

  12. NOT QPR AGAIN!! im looking for interesting things about West Ham ,Please just change the name to QPR- HF GONE GRAZY. you really are a discrase to our fans, please qpr fans ingnore this guy he is not a west ham fan and we try and disown ourselfs from him.dont turn on West Ham please.

  13. if you cant write a balanced post then dont bother. HF you seem to be quite well educated but that isnt enough in the real world, commen sense plays a big part and i dont thin you have much of that.

    ReplyDelete
  14. If you are disowning yourself from me, why have you come to the site looking for interesting articles on West Ham? Contradiction or what? I can't make up news about WestHam. QPR are news at the moment. This bid has failed. That bid has failed. We aren't even bidding!

  15. HF i think you want to be a QPR fan but are scared to come out and say it. its ok,some people do support two teams and we dont mind if you admit you do. iv seen your west ham posts and your as negative about them so it must be in your nature to be negative/cynical. sad man

  16. your an attention seeker thats why you write posts like this .you love the responce even if its against you. hope you friday night is what you wanted it to be. all day u must of been thinking what can i write to P#ss off QPR fans, thats your way of having fun. what a looser.

  17. i'm sorry what do you mean pay later, are you honestly taking a shot at our finances? no offense intended but the finances between our clubs is vastly different, also bids are rejected all the time, thats the point of negotiation, i am slightly concerned with the lack of activity so far but you can't judge a transfer window until it's complete. i have a feeling that some deals are in place that just need confirmation in the same way that the ferdinand deal was in place as a back-up to bassong.

  18. 2100, you should see my Tottenham blog - that's well upbeat! Suppose it depends on the fortune of the team you are writing about!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Alex holds the key to your mad, jealous rages HF. With the same agent as hughes, qpr will know if alex will want to play for qpr or would rather go abroad.....hence whether the bid is a bluff as you like to suggest, or real and available bucks, cash, big ones, de niro, pasta or wonga by any other name. I think I already know the answer, but I worry for your sanity hf, you need to find out for yourself....roll on Monday.

  20. hahahaha the qpr boys slag hf off just as much as our own, universally hated - priceless!!!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Keep it up HF! Myself and all my WH mates in the BML love all your QPR articles. The responses from the Rs fans, if I'm not mistaken, appear to betray just a hint of insecurity despite all the bluster. You'd expect a teensy-weensy bit more confidence from them given their jolly new billionaire owner and an influx of Champions League players imminent. Your blog has become my first port of call for all Rangers news. Any liklihood of an interview with Colin?

  22. count how many posative blogs u write ahainst negative and they u may realise your have a problem.

    ReplyDelete
  23. on a seriouse not HF you have a big metal problem, since Fernandes didnt buy your club you have been harbering a deep resentment and hattred for him and day by day its eating you up from inside, you have seen how he has helped QPR and can only dream of that happening to your club, you really need help. Im sure you will joke this off but its not me with the problem.

    ReplyDelete
  24. mid January is a difficult time to get players in quickley so all Hughes is doing is keeping his options open and trying to land what he can. no problem with that , go for 6 players and get 2 rather than go for 2 and get none, you havent got a clue. you numpty

    ReplyDelete
  25. 2140, nice to know as when I get to games, I am in the BML. Who knows, we may have rubbed shoulders!

2143, you have a problem mate - with spelling!

  26. a good blog is when someone writes a balanced account and readers write there comments and opinions that causes good debate, but look what you write and look what readers say about it, think about it HF you are not vry good at what you do.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I know. Hopeless. Which is why you and others keep coming back. Over 1.5 million hits now. Not bad for a crap blog.

    ReplyDelete
  28. we come back because an outsider like you is disrespecting our club,Think about that, we are defending ourselves, were not going to stand by and let you say what you want without saying what we have to say.

    ReplyDelete
  29. read the news we are on the verge of signing Henrique, and we have increased outr offer on Alex. when will you accept Fernandes is doing good for us.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Why? If this blog is irrelevant why do you feel the need to challenge what I have to say? Think about it. If I am wrong, Fernandes will prove me wrong, not a bunch of gRs wetting their pants because they are frightened I might be right.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Its Friday night, I am on the verge of winning the Lottery - again!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Do you really have metal problems HF? Me too, I find rust the worst, closely followed by fatigue.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hughes and Alex have the same agent so if he wanted to go abroad we wouldnt of put the bid in,now we have incresed it, its a process that teams go through when
buying a player, its called bargaining. HUGHES;"shall i put a bid in for ALEX?"AGENT;"No he wants to go abroad"HUGHES;"ok then i wont bother/ obviusly he is open to going to QPR.

    ReplyDelete
  34. very funny HF ,your should of been a comedian, oh yes your blogs are a joke.

    ReplyDelete
  35. LOL BML, that's because we are Irons. QPR fans just have a burning sensation in the Bush!

2223, I write for Milton Jones.

    ReplyDelete
  36. (1) West Ham have signed FC Dallas defender George John on loan.
    (2) West Ham are switching their attention from Jordan Rhodes to Marvin Sordell.
(3)Sam Allardyce denies interest in Bolton's Kevin Davies.
    (4) West Ham play Pompey tomorrow.
(5)Former Hammers manager Avram Grant is set to become manager of Partisan Belgrade.
    (6) Former West Ham player John Hartson expresses an interest in the Wales job.

There are plenty of interesting West Ham related stories doing the rounds yet you persist in focusing on Fernandes and QPR.

    Pitiful.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I've done John, I will do Sordell if anything comes of it, we don't want Davies - but then we don't want hundreds of other players! - I've written about tomorrow's game, Grant was with us for a season and has gone and I have had no time or respect for Hartson since he kicked a team mate in the head!

Anyway, you've covered all the non news!

    ReplyDelete
  38. a west ham site that finds it more interesting talking about another team, how stupid. your site always comes up on my News now but good think is i can now block your web site from appearing on it, finally no more sh#t from you.goodbye

    ReplyDelete
  39. You could always do that. Until you log on next time. And until you feel the urge to return. See you after QPR lose to Newcastle, or perhaps when you slip into the bottom three if Blackburn win tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  40. i see someone hit a nerv with you HF,now we see your true colours , saying when we lose to Newcastle and when we drop into bottom three.

    ReplyDelete
  41. No nerve hit here. On the other hand, your nerve seems to have been pressed. I do so perhaps!

    ReplyDelete
  42. As this is now a QPR site; Breaking news. QPR have put a new bid in for Alex and Peinar # Sao Paulo starlet Henrique to join QPR on loan

    ReplyDelete
  43. Breaking news...same old news. How many "bids" have you made for Sanamba? And do you really want Pienaar? He is the new Dyer!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Sanamba? Samba! What happened there? God knows!

    ReplyDelete
  45. "Grant was with us for a season and has gone"

Fernandes was never at West Ham yet you spend half your time running articles involving him.

"I have had no time or respect for Hartson since he kicked a team mate in the head!"

Fernandes flicked the v-sign at West Ham yet you have plenty of time for him.

    ReplyDelete
  46. It's obvious you care more about site hits than concentrating on your club.

    ReplyDelete
  47. There's a differnce between a v sign and a boot in the head. Anyway, have I said anything good about Fernandes?

    ReplyDelete
  48. I for one hope QPR do well now Warnock's gone. Trouble is if they DO go down Warnock put all the blame on Sparky

    ReplyDelete
  49. QPR have just signed ALEX, makes your blog laughable now.muppet!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Really? A fee has been agreed apparently, but Alex hasn't signed yet has he? Chelsea want rid so getting them to agree is the easy bit, the question is, does Alex want to join QPR? As I've said before, it would be a great signing!

    ReplyDelete
  51. if we get ALEX and Henrique will you shut up then?

    ReplyDelete
  52. if we get ALEX and Henrique will you shut up then?

    ReplyDelete
  53. 11:13 you always hedge your bets you c@ck! once again you look ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  54. ALEX and HUGHES have the same agent, why would we put a bid in if the agent knows he doesnt want to go to QPR. when will u admit QPR have ambition something West Ham missed out on ,you must be hurting.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I have no idea if they have the same agent. However, if Hughes agent is seen to be working for both sides in the deal, and if he is sharing confidential information with QPR about a player on Chelsea's books, I reckon QPR - and everybody who cares about QPR - should keep pretty quiet about it, as I believe that would be in breach of rules. You could end up being fined and stripped of points if there is something dodgy here. In fact, somebody might challenge the FA and Premier League to look into the deal if it goes through if gRs keep shouting about the link!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Hmmm some chicken counting going on in the hatchery by gRs. I quote AVB "We're just trying to reach the level of proposal we think is good for the player. We'll present anything to the player. He has to make a decision. He has generated interest from a lot of clubs."

A lot of clubs. How many of those clubs are 4th from bottom of the Premiership?

    ReplyDelete
  57. If Alex joins us will you stab yourself up the Arse with a dirty pool cue ?
