So out goes Maynard - he can't play wide right after all - and in comes er Collison. And with Faye injured, in comes O'Neil with Tomkins dropping into the back four.
So we have a team bristling with attacking intent - bristling like Duncan Goodhew's scalp! No Morrison. All the attacking options on the bench. & Carew. I despair!
Team
Green
O'Brien, Tomkins, Collins, McCartney
Collison, O'Neil, Noble, Taylor
Nolan
Cole
Subs: Baldock, Maynard, Carew, Lansbury, Potts
Yeah, it's full steam ahead for one of those coveted play-off places...
ReplyDeleteAnd Barcelona Burnley have taken the lead. How will Allardyce respond? Pull off Cole and send on Carew?
ReplyDeleteAnd Reading now lead against Blackpool. The gap is currently 5points!
ReplyDelete2-0... It's all going to plan. Those play-offs are tantalisingly close.
ReplyDeleteBarcelona Burnley, without top scorer Rodriguez are now two goals ahead. This is a disgrace.
ReplyDeleteWe could yet finish seventh Rab!
ReplyDeleteAnd Reading two goals ahead!
ReplyDeleteI have to say i was a fan of bfs. I thought he would turn us into a proper football club for the first time in our history. Well either the curse of the hammers has struck or more likely he has been found out. We may still get something out of this game (unlikely i know) but we are a club in disaray again with no idea on how to dominate a game and score goals due to his piss poor tactics. I stand corrected HF.
ReplyDeleteI did say we may still get something out of this game. When is bfs gonna realise his team is good enough to beat these teams and go positive
