Birmingham and Villa United in Celebration as McLeish is Sacked!

It takes a lot for Birmingham and Villa fans to agree about anything football related - but tonight they will be chinking glasses at the news that the ginger tosser has been thrown out of work. The appointment was always perverse and the decision of McLeish to travel across the divide was downright disgusting, so the only disappointing aspect is that Villa escaped relegation by the skin of their teeth. They deserved to go down.

So everybody in Birmingham is happy tonight. Although they are probably breaking into a sweat in West Bromwich and Wolverhampton. The last thing the fans of both clubs need is for McLeish to be available!

  1. I'm not happy though HF - if we dont win on Saturday and Big Sam decides to fall on his sword, then that's all we need - Gold & Sullivans former favourite available and cheap with no compensation payments. Oh fcuk!! please let us win on Sat!!

  2. Blues fan - i ain't bothered and i think most fans aren't.
we've moved on and besides having a good laugh at the circus most weeks it's a sideshow.
he did what he had to, to earn a good living and got lerner to give him a big payout as well.
so in one year he got about 6 million out of them instead of 1 mill at blues.
so he can go back to Scotland and have a good laugh as well as us.

  3. Us Birmingham fans wanted McLeish to stay at Villa, he did a fantastic job, shame he didn't get to finish it :(

  4. I'm not sure us Birmingham fans are too happy.. He'd surely have taken them down next season? And their fans hated him anyway..

Somehow managed to survive this season despite taking 1 point less than when our manager and us getting relegated!

  5. Shit Clez, I hadn't considered that! They could appoint Grant as Director of Football and Zola as chief coach too!

  6. HF, Avram Grant has just won the Serbian League with Partizan, and then randomly terminated his contract. Just thought you'd like to know.

I found the news tragic to be honest. If McLeish had managed to take Vile down as should have happened I would personally have written a citation to the Home Office for his knighthood. Major trophy for Blues and relegate Vile? Priceless!

  9. No way, Clez. McLeish has knocked himself down quite a few pegs. His next job will be in the N probably, but not with us. They won't make the Grant mistake again.

And Sam will be our manager next year regardless of Saturday.
