Leeds have a treacherous Snod in the Grass!

So the club is trying to sound upbeat and Warnock is thumping his usual tub, trying to convince us that he is again going to walk on the water he passes when his kidney stones allow, only for captain Robert Snakeinthegrass to come out and question the entire Semen Warnock & Master Bates project! With captains like that, who needs disgruntled squad members?

Snodgrass is, of course, looking after number one. He is in the last year of his contract and knows that a club like West Ham may be interested at a knock down price. It sounds pretty much like a "Someone please come and get me" plea when he says, "The chairman is trying to put a bit of pressure on me and he's telling me what plans he has for the club. But they told me the same type of plans the season before and it didn't work out so it's hard to buy into these things again."

And he goes further, dismissing Warnock as a "Here today, gone tomorrow" merchant when he insists, "Who knows whether he has one or two more years left at Leeds? It's all right for him to say he could get me a move but if he leaves the people above him in the football club are not going to worry about what he said."

And you can't get more pointed than, "My future doesn't lie in the hands of Neil Warnock, it's in the hands of Robert Snodgrass."

All of which translates to "Snod you Neil, I'm alright"!

Looks like choppy waters ahead for the good ship Whites Pig!

  1. Have you nothing better to do but comment on the Mighty Whites? I know you'll never emulate us but your jealousy is bordering on the obsessive.

  2. Never emulate you mate? Nope, we have NEVER been in the third tier of English football.

I'm hoping we get Snodgrass actually. Allardyce would sort him out and I think he has the ability to cut it in the Prem. And as he as good as says, why would he hang around at a crap arse club like Leeds? Did you know that Lithuania once had an Empire that stretched all the way from Denmark to Central Europe? The present pisses on history. Which club is in the Prem exactly?

  3. Could get in to tit for tat comments with hammers fan but if you think snod is a snake in the grass and you would love to have him, shows sort of club and support you have, so won't bother you ain't worth it MOT

  4. If he leaves Leeds he'll go to a mid table prem club at least not a team who's gonna come straight back down. you couldn't afford Snodgrass and he won't be going on a cut price deal he said if Leeds show a bit of ambition and sign players good enough to fight for promotion its's a no brainer he'll sign the contract and captain Leeds in the prem!

  6. I like west ham, I like their fans (generally) I like them because they don't choose what is easy (ChelArseTots)but what they were born with, whats in their blood.
I thought it was a lot like being a Leeds fan. But whats this a crap arse club?(crap arse owner maybe), I don't think so . I think you'd be bright enough to spend your time taking the mick out of the poseurs and their present day glory hunting fans not clubs that are in many ways like your own. Yes we are in the sh*t but we are real fans with a real club.
    West Ham:
History; best league position 3rd, Present; hoping for midtable safety. But I'd say West Ham are a proper club with proper fans. Remember what makes football great, not cheap jibes. All the best.

  7. @Hammersfan congrats on getting to the prem from a leeds fan! You are right the present pisses on history but when you come back down next year ye will have a big fall nolan on 50k that aint championship wages my friend your debt continues to mount and ye need a fairly big overhaul because ye cudnt beat a "CRAPARSE" club like leeds who only for shambolic defending and missed oppurtunities would have given ye a hiding

  8. Eh eh eh calm down mate, was only making the point that if life was so sunny down there why would you need spend so much time commenting on us? If we really are such a crap arsed club that is? Me thinks we still have the power to annoy even when we are crap and i LOVE IT. Forever WHITE.

  9. You seem to have missed out the fact that if we do sign premirship class players, then he will infact sign his contract as it is a no brainer. I would not blame him one bit for leaving if we didn't do so. In future please represent both views and try to use the entire article in yo reports/news.

Anyway, why are you posting about Leeds on a West Spam page?

  10. Please sign him! He's too slow. Can you sign Mccormack as well please.

  11. Good point about Lithuania HF - made me laugh anyway.

I just wish for 3 skilled & pacy players in defence, midfield and attack, one of each. Spend say 20/24 million plus a couple more in on free transfers or who are out of contract elsewhere, and that should be enough to keep us up.

As for Leeds - they're a long time coming back with Mister Bates....

  12. if Blackpool were a little more clinical, you would probably be heading for the third tier with a big bag of debt to boot. count your lucky bubbles and good luck in the prem. Hope you manage to beat your all time record and finish in the top 15.

  13. if you were that f..king good and we were that crap, how come you couldnt beat us last season. tosser.make the most of your 1 season in the premier league, itll be good seein you get f..king hammerd every week.hammerd, get it twat.

  14. Sorry, crap arse club was out of order. Crap arse owner, total shit of a manager...and everybody hates Leeds because of Revie, Bremner, Giles, Hunter, Charlton, Yorath, Madeley, Reaney, Clarke...and the way you treated Clough. But great club for all that. Apologies.

    ReplyDelete
  15. 2240, what was the score against Nottingham Forest? You know, that club that Clough won the European Cup with!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Um...what a moron- Revie's LUFC were one of the best teams the game has ever seen. Are you mental? As for Clough- he did alright in the end but was useless without Peter Taylor and Forest were pretty mediocre in the 90s. Clough has always been overrated as a coach. Also, we last won the league under Wilkinson in 1992, and got into the ECL semi final under O'Leary- LUFC history is more than Revie. WHU are a crap club and always will be...you'll be in the third tier in a few years when the bailiffs come calling. I can't wait.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Well you know about the bailiffs 2308. I don't deny that the Leeds team under Revie was a great team, but they were Bastard United as far as the whole country outside of Leeds was concerned. Vicious, spiteful, cynical...and hugely talented.

As for the 92 team, shame you couldn't keep hold of Cantona. By selling him to Man Utd, you opened the door to their domination of English club football. What a dumb arse thing to do!

  18. Have to agree with all the non West Ham supporters re this article - you've just been promoted (and well done - you deserve to be in the Prem) and all you can do is talk about other clubs?
this is just re hashed pulp and lazy journalism - get a life and look forward, not downwards.

  19. Dear Hammersfan;

My friend, you seem to be a bit of an ignorant dick.
You are probably way too young to have seen Revie's magnificent side teach Europe a footballing lesson over several seasons. And though you've managed partially to digest a semi-fictional account of Clough's time at Elland Rd., you're clearly unaware that our poor treatment of the sad maniac set him up financially for the rest of his career. I thought he was great, actually; but I can't remember a time when your club was even remotely associated that calibre of talent. Moore and Hurst were pretty good, but that side couldn't touch Leeds so try to get some football history on board before shooting your childish mouth off. LondonLeeds

  21. Now then mate would like to take up the present versus past argument. Just ask Liverpool about 18 titles and 5 european cups or ask preston about being the first ever double winners or huddersfield about being the first team to win the title on three consecutive years whether history matters? That's the point with trophy's no amount of crapness can ever take them away. League positions are only ever temporary trophy's are permanent.
If you had had a history you might understand that. But the Lithuania thing was funny though.

  22. 2320, I saw that great Leeds team play at Upton Park actually. Eddie Gray came on as a sub and scored twice in the last 10 minutes to rescue a 2-2 for Leeds. I suspect that you would struggle to tell me a lot about that team. Unlike you, in the case of West Ham, I can name ALL the great players from that era - You forgot Martin Peters! And Brooking came along on the coat tails.

    ReplyDelete
  23. 0710, History can also be a burden. Look at Liverpool, they are being crushed by expectation. And in the case of Leeds, you are a huge scalp for all the teams in the Championship.

marvellous stuff HF keep cranking that wind-up handle. Leeds are a great club resting from the big time and they'll remain that way until Bates is winkled out or carried out.

  27. well at least Hammersfan seem to have let his obsession with the famous Queens Park Rangers subside, even if he has replaced it with an obsession with
Leeds United. Next he'll tell you Leeds are his "championship club"
