Of course Friedal can't go on for ever, and Gomes may prefer to restart his career in pastures new, but there's no way that Redknapp would stick with Green as his first choice: he has major flaws in his technique and his temperament is decidedly suspect.
Green has a nice little number at West Ham. He is a guaranteed starter, no matter what, and he collects an above average wage. In those circumstances, he would be mad to swap West Ham for Spurs. Any of the top teams and he will be an understudy, any of the teams in mid table or below and he would have to take a wage drop.
If he is considering Spurs he should take not of what happened to Cuducini and might also note that even Parker was benched yesterday. Being idolised at the Boleyn is surely better than rotting in the stiffs at Spurs!
Parker was benched yesterday because he is coming back from an achilles injury...
ReplyDeleteI also reckon it will be the wrong move for Greeno if he decides to join the Yiddos. Especially if he knows he is not even guaranteed first team football. Is he really thinking that moving there will re-ignite his England career?!? He'll still gonna be England's no 666,that will not change anytime soon. The real question is,who are we gonna get to replace him next season? If we are still in the Championship, that Henderson guy would be okay. But in the EPL? We need someone solid..
ReplyDeleteParker is a complete and utter t****r and a shit footballer I wouldn't give a toss if he never kicked a football again
ReplyDeleteIn fact the issue that really troubles me is the fact that I may be forced to hope that Chelski win the Champions League cos seeing fat frank lift that trophy may be worth the look on 'arrys face when fourth ain't good enough
deane u talk utter shite pal parker has been superb this season by the sounds of it your just a bitter west ham fan, no wonder green wants to leave playing championship football again next year doesnt do him any favours for the euros
