Krasic Turns Down Tottenham To Join West Ham

Sounds good in the headline doesn't it? According to the Mail, and we all know how reliable a source that is, Milos Krasic of Juventus has put two fingers up to Tottenham Hotspurs and, if he comes to England, will link up with Sam Allardyce and West Ham instead.

It's easy to see Krasic's thinking. Tottenham peaked last season and, even then, couldn't qualify for the Champions League. There's only one direction in which Tottenham are heading, and that's backwards. Key members of the squad have left, others seem sure to follow, and 'Arry's tenure at the club may be coming to an end.

Meanwhile, West Ham are on a roll, seem certain to be playing in the best club stadium in London in a couple of years time and, in Allardyce, have a manager with the knack of reviving flagging careers. Some are talking of a season of struggle next year, but if Allardyce gets the pieces of the jigsaw that he is seeking, the Hammers could be the surprise package of 2012-13.

  2. Know what you mean Dave, I almost fell off my chair, but then I think our HF is such a misunderstood figure that this new found optimism is a joy to read. JMan43

Wtf? Have you swallowed a years' supply of happy pills in one go? Or are you just trolling on your own site (is that possible?) in order to upset our North London friends. I'm guessing and hoping it's option B in which case keep up the good work HF.

Spuds- before you respond in the usual way, yes we know you're masseeeeev, so well done you. And I think I can speak on behalf of most hammers fans and say that I sincerely hope Harry gets the contract extension that he's so utterly desperate for so that he can finish the job he's doing on, I mean doing at SHL. COYI!

    1. The last time we went up via the play offs we finished in the top half and should have won the cup. Doesn't matter what happened last season.

  6. HF on the payroll of the two Dave's - helping to drum up optimism and season ticket sales. Who would have thunk it?

Seriously, I think the whole Juventus negotiations story is just a ruse of Big Sam's to throw everyone off the scent of whatever it is he is really doing. We will all most likely be surprised by the summer signings: that is his way.

  8. I honestly can't tell if this is genuine optimism or sarcasm. Decent post, though.
