Akos Buzsaky would actually be a good signing and whilst DJ Campbell hasn't been released, he isn't going to get much of a kick next season with Zamora and Cisse on the Hoops' books, so could well be available on a loan deal. And Ramage could do a job in the Championship too.
It's a sad state of affairs when a great club like Leeds United has to go sniffing in the Bush but beggars can't be choosers and without the hoped for takeover, the former giants of British football are going to have to be satisfied with scraps.
You are so smug, just have to keep taking a swipe at Rangers, indirectly which is so clever.
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait till next season and wipe that smugness away
Another article about Leeds. The only crazy thing about this website is it claim to be about West Ham. The obsession with Leeds only proves the size of club. Clubs like the hammers will always look up to Leeds regardless of current standing.
ReplyDeleteHow is this a swipe at Rangers?
ReplyDeleteBig Sam sacked by crimbo, west ham back in championship by march, the mighty whites back in the big time by may, see you on the way past !!!
ReplyDeleteLook pal iam not going to bite but whats your leeds gripe ?? west ham have a good support like leeds we have had a bigger downfall than you ever will is it to keep you blog in a high rating due to the massive leeds support where you get a lot of hits glory blogger eh pal
ReplyDeleteWhy does this blog always take shots at QPR and what's this with sniffing in the Bush...just sounds very derogatory to QPR. Stick to West Ham and talk positively about others else dont say anything.
ReplyDeleteLeeds? QPR? Supposed to be a hammers blog site
ReplyDeleteWhy would NW want to sign the players you have mentioned he hardly played Akos Buzsaky when he managed QPR, Danny Shittu never played in the Premiership and only played 7 times for QPR under NW, Danny Gabbidon game to QPR when QPR had no money to invest and was a panic buy,Why would NW want to sign him.Leeds fans NW will be only looking to sign NW QPR players , Paddy Kenny,Clint Hill,Shaun Derry,Tommy Smith,The writer of this blog should stick to writing about the club he loves West Ham United and back his rumors with at least some paper talk, not just current players that have been released by QPR.
ReplyDeleteIt's a swipe.at Rangers as the implication is there is an injustice that 'a huge club like Leeds' will have to accept dropouts from a 'smaller' club.
ReplyDeleteIt's nonsense. Leeds got themselves into this mess by over-reaching, in this writers simplistic terms 'they thought they were as big as Man U'.
And agree with the comments above, this relates to West Ham how exactly!?
It's a sad state of affairs when a team like Leeds & i quote you "Has to go sniffing in the Bush?!!,if that's not another of your little digs at the Rangers, well.
ReplyDeleteThough in fairness none mentioned are premiership quality,& the R's do need a big clearout,c'mon Sparky!
Not sure if Buszaky is released,a good player on his day, just bit slow, truth be known.
Need Faurlin & Diakite signed, get rid of Barton & we should be good.
QPR are based in Shepherds Bush no? Alan Clarke of Leeds was famously known as "Sniffer" was he not? Put the two together and you get the headline. If the article is derogatory to any club, then that club is Leeds, but that is offset by terming them a "huge club".
ReplyDeleteWhy would Warnock want these players? Again, a crucial point seems to have been missed. He doesn't, but Leeds are broke so without the rumoured take over, he can't have who he wants - exactly as he couldn't at QPR. He has a relationship with these players and whilst I don't expect all of them to end up at Leeds, I do expect Kenny and two or three others to journey North.
The Kenny situation sums it all up. Robinson (ex Leeds), Almunia, Jussi, Gordon are all available and all better than Paddy, but Leeds are, as I say, feeding off of scraps despite their great history.
I wonder how many Leeds fans would do a weekly article on West Ham? The fact is he loves that West Ham are above Leeds currently. I say let him enjoy it. The reason he is so smug is he knows it won't last so I say let the clown have his moment. Fact is when we are back in the Premiership we won't even be thinking about your lot, we never really have. Probably something to do with the fact you never really beat us!
ReplyDeleteBumhole
ReplyDeletei dont see how leeds are broke, we are making profit. The difference is we have a tight chairman that wont spend. Plus we just dont have the billionaire investors most clubs seem to have these days.
ReplyDeleteFair point 11.33, but the trouble is that, in relative terms, you are broke because you are being run at a profit! We are in a similar boat because we are paying down debts from an operating profit. But we do at least own our own ground - for now!
ReplyDeleteWet spam incest victim .....jog on clown .
ReplyDeleteDidn't remember Allan Clarke being labelled a "sniffer?!!!",if true you must be even older than this 47 yr old R'S die hard fan!
ReplyDeleteQuite funny headline,if this was the case,so you get a tiny amount of credit for that!
Thought ur blogs re-surfaced after the Hammers scraped thru, via the playoffs, because if you did lose,i doubt "the game's gone crazy" blogs, would've been back for quite some time?!!
Though you are like an irritating rash, that keeps coming back!
I do sometimes see the funny side of your dribble!
Up The R's
Last week you reckoned Colin was walking. Where do you get your information, is it Doris Strokes?
ReplyDeleteCrikey 1245, he was known as Alan Sniffer Clarke because of his ability to sniff out a chance in the box. Oops, that sounds as crude as the headline doesn't it? More innocent times!
ReplyDeleteHow many new readers are you getting by preferring Leeds United. Remember your porn baron investors don't earn money whilst you incest ridden East Londoners do your own kids.
ReplyDeleteYour just a pxxxk mate you need to get alife and worry about your own team
ReplyDeleteAgain an attempt at humour still makes me chuckle....just a wee bit. Still you have one more week before your focus will be firmly back on the Irons. Lets face it "Big Sam" has got to start buying to strengthen a team that struggled at home and nearly messed up bouncing back.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why HF does not have the right to post articles about other teams! What you don't like, you don't look at!
ReplyDeleteKeep it up HF, I don't always agree with your controversial views, but at least you bring it a breath of fresh air :-)
Ur a twat
ReplyDeleteLeeds arent broke. Our chairman is just tight as a ducks arse and wont spend money on stupid transfer and agents fees. Plus no bank in the world will lend us a bean after our fall. Most our clubs just borrow money they dont really have in the first place.
ReplyDeleteHa ha this guy just can't stop thinking about Leeds,
ReplyDeletei've been away for the weekend. Upon my return i have noticed that you are still a Bell End.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite team and my favourite album. But really mate, you need to stop with all the Leeds stuff and get back to concentrating on the 'ammers, surely something interesting must be down boleyns hole?
ReplyDelete"It's a sad state of affairs when a great club like Leeds United has to go sniffing in the Bush but beggars can't be choosers.." This is clearly a slight on both QPR and Leeds. Don't try to play the innocent Hammer. You're comparing Leeds to beggars and sugesting that they are scraping the bottom of a barrel by looking at QPR. The fact is Kenny, Hill and Derry are all proven at championship level and would do a sterling job for Leeds. I suppose you were this rude about Barnsley when West Ham acquired Vaz Te and belittled Bristol City when West Ham snapped up Nicky Maynard? You clearly lack the intelligence to attract visitors to your site by means other than veiled insult. Start concentrating on West Ham or we'll be paying you a little visit.
ReplyDelete1150, great album wasn't it? But I guess this is the cover for the single. The album cover was nothing like this.
ReplyDelete1205 a "slight" on both clubs? O dear! Slights eh? Who would think it! No slight at all if you think about it. Leeds are termed a great team and QPR are therefore a feeder club for a great team.
ReplyDeleteHa ha can't even hold onto your best players back in the prem and they still want go! Bye bye rob green on his way to Leeds !
ReplyDeletecockneys sound like puffs
