So Warnock must be fearing the worst whilst trying to sound upbeat. He knows the form after Fernandes backed him and sacked him following the takeover at QPR and with a poor record since taking on the Leeds job, he doesn't have a CV to impress the new owners.
So who would fit the bill at Elland Road? Well there's an ex West Ham and Tottenham manager who took Portsmouth up from the Championship who is currently out of work. If the new owners are happy to splash the cash, 'Arry might consider a commute from the South coast worthwhile, providing certain incentives are paid into an offshore account in the name of Rosie the Dog of course!
And with Joe Jordan now out of work, 'Arry could bring an old Leeds hero home!
This isn't as fanciful as it might initially sound.
ReplyDeleteI think there's a very real possibility the new owners will decide to bring their own man in. This of course depends on the level of financial clout they have, and whether they have their own ideas about how best to get the club back into the Premier League.
Failing that, expect a QPR-esque outcome where Warnock guides us out of the Championship before being unceremoniously sacked at the first hint of trouble in the top flight.
Just as long as they don't bring in Mark Hughes...
Knobend
ReplyDeleteYou must be bored again, now Bates and 'arry is a match made in heaven, be great for the spammers when the tax man wants his money and your mob go into administration. Who cares about Warnock? plenty good managers out there, apart obviously from 'arry and fat sam.Chris Houghton might fancy managing Leeds's first team instead of our rejects down in yokel land
ReplyDeleteWho fackin cares
ReplyDeleteWe stand by Warnock and Warnock stands by us. Harry is a fantastic manager, but not Leeds United. He would be good however when NW has finished his business. In Warnock we trust
ReplyDeleteBoring
ReplyDeleteFor once, what you say is not unreasonable. But the takeover hasn't actually happened.
ReplyDeleteYet.
you really do talk bollocks
ReplyDeleteI think you have got it wrong my friend, Im a close friend of the new multi billionare leeds united owner. I can assure every leeeds united fan that neil warnock is the preferd man to take leeds out of the championship, then it will be a former chelsea manger(not ranieri or AVB but he's still pretty special) will takeover the reigns for the push for glory on all fronts. Yours truly sheik rubadub bet you shit your pants reading that mate ha ha, anybody can write garbage. Don't no how much truth in this but hearing its duncan revie with mega rich arab investors are the guys taking over, what would hammersfan make of that? A new revie era, sounds bloody great to me.
ReplyDelete"He doesn't have a cv to impress the new owners".
ReplyDeleteNW has 7 promotions under his belt now I think that is quite an achievment. NW Perfect man for the job. What a crap article! In Warnock we trust!
Warnock has said this is his last job and wants one last chance to get another team promoted
ReplyDeleteso he has next season to do that.So whats your point?
IN WARNOCK WE TRUST.
ReplyDeleteI think youwill find, Warnock will NOT be going anywhere... there is a real possiblility that Warnock knew from day one that this takeover was happening - if you read the articles you could match the dots up!!
ReplyDeleteGrayson wasnt doing too bad of a job at Leeds, only 3 points off the playoff in January ... Bates didnt have/want to invest anymore into Leeds playing squad, therefore sought after Investment/Takeover... these things arent a couple of week job... these kind of deals can take months and months.
Most articles suggest that Bates waited till after the Jan window closed, looked for an investor/buyer, and in order for this to happen, the new owners would want their own man in the job... which was Warnock - thats why he was brought in, in February - so he could have a few games to get to know the player and decide who he wants, who he doesnt and then he can decide who he wants to bring in so he already knows the squad, and isnt a manager who comes in a few weeks before the season and is given a few £m to spend, knock up a half decent squad and hope it works for the best... it doesnt... look at AVB at Chelsea... you need a manager that knows the sqad, and the squad need to blend!
So Warnock is staying, Leeds in the prem for season 2013/2014

Breaking news I told you first I've been told from a very good sauce Simon Grayson is the man the new owners want back and a deal to do it is on the cards watch this space !
ReplyDeleteFunny I spoke with someone in the know who says Grayson back in also a little money passed hands on Grayson been next Leeds boss !!
DeleteJust spoke with Grayson and he Laughed at that he will always be Leeds through and through but sorry return at this stage not on the cards he did say he has been told by a Leeds player new owner not going to splash cash until in prem neil looking at 5m to spend but all sale money to spend on top! Ross to town not true MOT.!
DeleteUnfortunately your point on Warnock not being 'the chosen one' to take the club into the next season by any prospective new owner.... is totally valid and may be correct.
ReplyDeleteWarnock could do the job at Leeds but as you say he's got full experience of the late QPR takeover last year and he's not stupid. There could be very little money available anyway so if I was him I'd jump before pushed. The recent NFFC comment is rubbish anyway and as days go by... I see it as an increasingly viable option with a certain italian and the arab at City Ground..... Unfortunately.
I don't care whether this is a w'ham blog or what...???... but it would be good if many stepped 'outside the box' and think what could be about to erupt.....
I Love Leeds... We need stability and progress. Go on say it!.....
We don't want anymore cockneys at Leeds.
ReplyDeleteWhich sauce is that 1517, HP or Heinz?
ReplyDeleteI know Neil Warnock is a Lovely Geezer, but he is too long in the tooth now to cut it as a manager.
ReplyDeleteLeeds will NOT get promoted with him in charge even if they spend £100 million.
You are such a boring twat. I can't be arsed with you anymore. Bell end!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDamn you 1446, I was planning to post that Revie was behind the deal, or at least fronting it. Now you've stolen my thunder. May do it anyway! Sorry your post was late to appear, went to SPAM for some reason.
ReplyDeleteOne thing for sure is that in two seasons when Leeds are premier league and you're championship is that none of us will be obsessed with west ham. Biggest crowd for you this season will be walls David haye
ReplyDeleteAnd what will your biggest gate be 17:08, now that we are no longer in the same league?
DeleteOur biggest gate will be bigger than yours that's for sure.
Deletedont forget its promotion that is the main aim obviously, and i cant think of anyone with a better record of promotion than warnock. give him the tools and he will do the job.
ReplyDeleteOh my HF your Leeds love in lasted a day. Reckon you miss the bite. Tried to reply to yesterdays post but fat fingered it if you pardon the phrase. Knockers going nowhere. Good health HF just having a beer to celebrate the end of Bates
ReplyDeleteWho is taking u lot over then?? Al-Hawasi doing due diligence at forest.
ReplyDeleteI think this whole Hammersfan hatred of Leeds stems form Warnock envy, something akin to Penis Envy...oh and Bobby Moore stole the bracelet
ReplyDeletedream on you twat, we Leeds fans are more loyal than you will ever know
ReplyDeleteno, it actually stems from Trevor Booring.....
ReplyDeleteI can still remember him clearly stating in the Leeds Southampton game (when we'd just scored 7 goals) that:
Leeds are playing their usual boring football.
Trevor bloody boring brooking....
What has he ever done....
You are not worthy to utter the name Revie, you arsehole, since when did any Wet Spam manager ever come close to what the Don did?
ReplyDeleteYou all call us Dirty Leeds because you are jealous of the skill and style we had, hard yes, dirty, no way, you need to go and look at the likes of Harris and Smith to find the meaning of the word dirty...
Now let me think? Did any West Ham manager manage England? Yes. Ron Greenwood. Did any West Ham manager walk out on England to take money from a bunch of Arabs? Nope.
ReplyDeleteYes Harris and Smith were dirty but they played for different teams. You had Charlton, Bremner, Hunter and Giles in the same nasty, nasty team!
get a life asshole!
ReplyDeleteJust jealous. Twat
ReplyDeletethat nasty nasty team was one of the most successfull english teams ever. won more than wet spam could only dream of.were a club with a proud history, thats why even today leeds are a massive club.
ReplyDeleteOne of the most successful teams ever? How many European Cups exactly? Nottingham Forest under Clough were more successful, not to mention Manchester United and Liverpool! Actually, despite the nastiness, you bottled it time and time again. Sunderland in the Cup Final? Remember Colchester? Crawford! 3-2! Crawford's done it! How about chucking away the title after being a mile clear and then blaming it all on a linesman at West Brom?
ReplyDeleteAre you old enough to remember Bremner tarnishing the Charity Shield? What about Charlton's Little Black Book? Scum!
lmao @ hammersfan rubbing a few facts in the faces of the leeds fans- so much sweeter now that looks like their new mega rich owner has actually listened to the hammers fans and decided to go for Forest instead.
ReplyDeleteTake me now lord (or wait until the tricky trees are back in the big time)
14.46 here, the pleasure is all myne hammersfan ha ha. I look forward to the revie article, I kind of guessed one would be forthcoming given the links to duncan and your feelings towards the great man and everything revie. I no you have digs but take it as a twisted compliment as you have stated its not because we your whipping boys, its called banter people you should expect this from rival!! Fans. im away working and posting of my phone that might have something to do with it going to wet spam.(sorry couldnt resist) WE ARE LEEDS M.O.T
ReplyDeleteLike I said, who fackin cares. Not me, not you, not your mum. End of. Northern fackin Nancys
ReplyDelete22.40 get your facts right al hawasi hasn't got any money, he wants to bring young kuwaiti players in to save on fees so don't expect to see NFFC in the prem anytime soon you thick cu#t. The new leeds owner however is a financial heavy hitter who wil bankroll us all the way to the premiership and beyond, I bet that realy grinds your gears hence why you on here hoping the takeover not true but it is ha ha ha ha ha ha all the way to the bank(not natwest tho). We are leeds united and you should understand we love to be hated its in our dna:-D
ReplyDeleteHammersfan, I think you will find we lost the title against WestBrom at ER not at WestBrom. We definitely do not blame the linesman because he got the decision right. Anyway, thats history, now to the future who ever is in charge. Well, maybe not Mark Hughes, he did'nt need a little black book!
ReplyDeleteHammersfan, the fact that you can reel off facts about Leeds's history as can so many others, is proof positive they were one of the most sucessful teams ever.By far English Football's most consistent performers from 65 to 75..didn't win everything..no...but revolutionised the game, and played at the highest level and that Team and that Manager Revie will live for ever...you can't argue this so please stick to what you know best, namely masterbation
ReplyDeleteYeah were quaking original red.forest are a much bigger team than us.hang on a minute...fook off yer daft tw@t.mot.
ReplyDelete
