Nolan Books Off New Year's Eve - Again!
Well there's a surprise. Captain Kev is free to enjoy New Year's Eve for the second season in a row having secured the yellow card necessary to take him to five just in time. How convenient! Last season it was a foul inside the Birmingham half which merited a yellow at the very least and this time it was a foul inside the Reading half that was guaranteed to secure the requisite booking.
Was the foul necessary? Well Reading were breaking but were deep inside their own half so the answer is no. Should Nolan have been on strict orders not to make silly challenges which would put him out of a crucial six pointer against Norwich? Unquestionably yes.
With resources stretched absurdly, the absolute priority should have been for Tomkins and Nolan to avoid yellows which would buy suspensions. One more game and the cards would be wiped. But, surprise, surprise, both are now free to enjoy a New Year's Eve piss up after collecting utterly stupid yellow cards - Tomkins for dissent!
Stupid or deliberate? Carroll has probably already texted Nolan to tell him which night club they are heading for!
How do you pick on Nolan (at least he was trying) and not see how hopeless your friend Noble was today? !!!
ReplyDeleteNoble was totally useless from start to finish. There is no way we can win matches with Noble in the middle and no-one else to make up for his deficiencies. If Diame goes and with Benayoun back to Chelsea we are extremely short of good and strong midfield players.
And why the hell, has Sam held back the forwards he had on the bench until very late in the game? We had to go for goals today, against one of the worst defences in the League. He also persists with Tomkins as a full back!
It must be excruciating for you watching Noble play and knowing Stani is right, hey HF?
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha. "a crucial six pointer against norwich". Music to my ears. Ha ha ha.
ReplyDeletematch report think u mean collins is suspended not tomkins and thank fuck both him and Nolan are shit and we will play better without them.
ReplyDeleteTwo posts and how you can avoid mentioning Noble after that performance says it all HF. He's even getting it on Dale's site, and most of them are Noble lovers.
ReplyDeleteEVERY set piece was frustratingly wasted. But why am I telling you all this, you saw it with your own eyes, and that's why you're so p-ed off right now!
"Noble straight to Federici"
"Noble on set piece duty yet again. Once again it's just not high enough"
"It was a yellow despite the look of disbelief on Noble's face" [After his stupid foul...yes, another one]
That's the commentator, by the way, not me.
And Jarvis?! What a waste of £10 million. Most crosses?! A mechanical foot can put the crosses in that he puts in.
ReplyDeleteBut there you have it, another example (along with that of Noble) of Allardyce and his blind adherence to misleading statistics.
P.S I drink horse semen
ReplyDeleteI'm suprised to see you writing about us for once as you usually spend your time writing about leeds...closet leeds fan?
ReplyDeleteYep Noble was poor. They were all poor except Collison and Reid. What about Vaz Te's header? That cost us the game but no mention of that Stani. Why?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, do you like the new design for the site? I had you and Sav in mind of course!
Everything about the new design is an improvement except the picture at the top of the page!
ReplyDeleteHF can you in future filter out any stupid rude comments by people imitating me like the one above. Stani and Sav you say Nolan was trying but him and o'neil were both worse than Noble today. You cant say a player has a bad game due to his shit set pieces. Yes he didnt have his best game today but he was still out of all the started in our midfield including Nolan the only one who could keep the ball and pass it to a team mate. My mate was at the game today and hes a reading fan, i told him before the game to watch out for his performance and he got back to me after the game and told me o'neil is the worst player hes ever seen and i agreed. Also instead of just blaming Noble for the defeat how about collins mistake, vaz te's miss how about Allardyce getting the balance of the team all wrong again.
ReplyDeleteFred 149,is that because the beer's shite in london or because you drink with the plastic hammer?

ReplyDeleteVaz has been out for more than 10 weeks - he came on and missed a sitter - it happens. As for Nolan - HF your a disgrace. Can you tell me the last time you wrote something positive about the irons because I genuinely can't think of one! COYI
ReplyDeleteare you insane hf?
ReplyDeletegoing down,going down,going down..going down,going down,going dowwwwwwwwn.going down,going down,going down...GOING DOWN..GOING DOWN!!!
ReplyDeleteWOULDNT IT BE BRILLIANT IF WEST HAM WERE RELEGATED THIS SEASON
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to playing a game without Nolan.. I think having Collison back in the middle and Vaz Te on the wing, with either Taylor (or McCartney) back in left back would be great. Collison looked good, and he looks like he wants to put more into it than Nolan.
ReplyDeleteJust think of the amusement you're providing for other football supporters. I notice plastic hammer was laughing at Leeds paying £150,000 for Ryan Hall. At least it wasn't 10m for jarvis who is no better than a mechanical boot. Ha ha ha.
ReplyDeleteClearly big sam has lost the dressing room. Thieving cockneys will steal anything that's not nailed down. Has anyone seen it? It's got eleven sacks of shit inside.
