Desperate Ipswich Sign Plastic Hammer

Oh dear, times they are a'desperate at Portandlemon Road. Not only have they turned to the tactical genius that is Mick McCarthy (no doubt based on a reference from former manager Roy Keane), they have now taken Frank Nouble off the hands of Wolves.

There was much excitement at Upton Park when we took this "exciting prospect" from Chelsea, but he proved to be pretty bloody hopeless. And having turned twenty, he aint going to come on in leaps and bounds is he?

So Wolves have cut their wage bill and Ipswich have taken on the new Carlton Cole - lacking Carlton's ability outside the box! A bad, bad move by McCarthy!

    More than a bit harsh. The boy is young and never got rolling at West Ham but still has potential.

    A little harsh but have to agree to the description of Frank Nouble. Was really excited to get him from Cheslki but disappointed with his ability. Hasn't set the world alight on loan to Championship clubs or at Ipswich so not sure why McCarthy has bought him. Just glad big Mick took our rubbish goalkeeper off of our hands.

    Harsh IMO. Frank had a few decent cameos for the hammers and looked better than CC on more than one occasion. He's still young and needs to play to learn. He might still come good.
