Diame Set To Quit West Ham

It's looking increasingly as if Diame is the latest Tevez or Demba Ba, seeing West Ham simply as a stepping stone to a better wage deal elsewhere.

Arsenal seem to be the front runners to land the man compared to Patrick Vierra and with a £3.5m buy out clause in the contract, there's little or nothing that Allardyce and the Board can do about it.

And Diame has returned from fitness at the ideal time to put himself in the January shop window. A strong performance against QPR today could prompt a Wenger move. Because at £3.5m the guy is an absolute snip!

  2. Just posted on the org how it winds me up something rotten when a player can't give you one good season before doing the van gogh! If he leaves it will be another in a long list of players who really couldn't give a toss about the club

  3. They all the players that come to our club for the shirt period r what u call mercenaries no other word u can describe them we give them the chance from the championship and they look elsewhere that's y as much as l love the world game it also makes us supporters go crazy but we will let him go no player is bigger than the club we will use the money to buy a player that wants to bleed for the claret and teal no matter what that's y there r 3 modern players that have played at west ham will be and always be hammers through and through they are Mark Noble, Scott Parker, and Carlton Cole , West Ham Forever

    1. Noble and cole stuck by the club and dragged us back to the prem from the championship. Parker didn't fancy it

  4. Scott Parker? a hammer through and through? the bloke is a judas and I hope he breaks a leg to end his career with the north London filth.

  7. The Club must keep Diamme at all costs! Grave mistake to let him go. Without Diamme we will stuggle to stay up this year. Just check the games he wasn't playing for us, if you have any doubt. Arsenal can't possible be offerring him higher wages as they have a strict salary cap. He is worth being on a top salary scale for us. He is vital to the team.

  8. 3.5m clause...I suppose Diame had the club at gunpoint when they put that in did he? Again it seems we tried to get a potential superstar on the cheapest deal possible, so cheap in fact, that he was able to force a 3.5m buy out clause. It's Ba all over again. Blame the owners. Ridiculous business

  9. By the way HF, you know you said our defeat against Sunderland was because Noble wasn't playing? What was the reason for what you yourself described as the 'heroic' performance at Old Trafford in the cup? I didn't see Noble on the pitch then either. That Sunderland post was pure blinkered emotional crap wasn't it HF?

  10. It pisses me off the fact that we cant hold on to our decent players... Are we that stupid to give release clauses in a players contract.. That, to me, sounds like handing a few sweeties to a kid. What a pathetic sysyem, the west ham recruitment management can only blame themselves!!!

  11. I also said that we rarely looked like scoring Stani. Did you see any brilliant corners or free kicks in Noble's absence?

  12. let him go if he wants never a top four player and will get splinters from bench .he runs out with ball then losses it

  13. Blatantly incorrect HF. Even the commentary team drew attention to O'Neil's delivery.

Cannot believe you're suggesting Noble's freekicks and corners are 'brilliant'. That's absurd

  14. Hang on guy who replied to anonymous about Scott Parker he was at least 4years at our club was parker a defoe where he asked for a transfer the day we got relegated so give Scott a fair go seriously he bled our colours so definitely in my eyes he will always be a hammer , forever a hammer

    1. It's a matter of opinion. If he had stayed with us for that season in the championship, then he would have been a hammers legend. But he didn't, he jumped ship to his beloved spurs whilst the real hammers had to dig deep and grind put result after result to get us back to the prem. He always wanted to go to spurs he was going on nights out with Harrys son Jamie whilst we were struggling at the foot of the prem. Hammers great? No sir not for me

  15. For me there is a simple solution, firstly we dont need a player that thinks he is better than us... Now Biglia has expressed an interest in joining and he is a class act and at £5.5 mil (8 Mil Euros) he is a good buy, fantastic DM with supereb passing and vision. it may not be an upgrade but it will coer the loss easily and add a player who wants to be here!

  16. I warned earlier in the season,(if you remember)that Diame,s not forever, ever, ever. Who needs him anyway, when you've got carlton Goals?

  17. Who cares - he shows a bit of dynamism every now and again, but is equally occasionally prone to mis-kicks, poor shooting etc. If he wants to go to Arsenal or Spurs, let him go.As for lopyalty, get rid of O Brien, O Neill, Nolan, Taylor, Tomkins. They are all pretty mediocre.
Carlton Cole and Joe Cole - keep them. They both put the work in. Mark Noble - a slow carthorse, but alsodoes the work but he'll never much more than a competent player, certainly never 'England' quality. As for goalies - if Wigan get relegated I'd buy Al Haabsi - he's better than Jussi who will be, what 40 next season ?

As for such as Scotty Parker, I forgot him already. His swivels did my brain in, and I don't rate him as much better than what we already have. Good riddance to him.

As fior the owners, they will always shop CHEAP - they have absolutely no class, but to read some forums like WHTID, KUMB, etc they are 'swaviours'. This in connection wi9th guys who made their fortunes from flogging vibrators, 'Asian Wives' and knickers. They are a pair of sentimental chumps, who will never spend any of their 'fortunes' - in their case, truly fortune's always hiding.

  22. Noble and Cole are Championship players at best and both coming to end of career . Slow in the head and slow of foot . Trouble is Tomkins is young but is even worse ! Diame is powerful and strong and we should build a team round him . As for Parker ...Loyal ... I think not he decided to join the crook at the filth .
