Talk about rats abandoning a floating ship! I've made my feelings about Diarra clear in the thread below, and to be honest, neither Allardyce nor myself will worry about Maiga buggering off to France. Diame is more of a concern but if he doesn't want to play for the club, stuff him. He isn't that special as he and Wenger will find out should he switch to Arsenal.
Question is, who will Allardyce bring in to replace them?

Diame has been our best player, we look lost without him, the other 2 can piss off but Diame would be a mega loss he is a power house and we don't have anyone that can do that role when he goes.
ReplyDeleteDiame not all that? Have you actually seen him play in the flesh? He practically beat Chelsea on his own. He's a very, very good player with the potential to become a great one. Losing him would be a tragedy, we should hang on to him as tightly as we can.
ReplyDeleteHe was only a sub that day as his form had been poor. He is good but not that good. Don't want to lose him though.
DeletePffff.... Any player who doesn't go at least to the end of the seson deserves little consideration, except if there are exigent circumstances (homesick, family issues, no play time at all...). Diame doesn't have any of these exigent circumstances. He just has an agent that is filling his head with garbage (and wnats to get paid his commission for transfers of course), and slimey Arsene who has been sweet talking him en Francais.
ReplyDeleteThat's all. Where Maiga and Diarra might be worried about their lack of minutes, maybe we should remind Mr. Diame that he was still paid by the club while injured, and that he got straight back into starting line up after that.
Anyhow, there is no valid replacement for him at this stage of the season, unless you are ready to pay absurd amounts of money or/and get yet another loanee (we know how that usually goes).
I am disheartened with this whole flip flopping...
I'm sure Nicklas Bendtner would be willing to drop to a lower standard of football and become West Ham's fourth ineffective targetman. Still half a season of bonehead route one football to go before you're relegated! Thanks for all the laughs!
ReplyDeleteI blame the 2 David's if we lose Diame. After losing Ba and Hiztleberger on a get out clause last season they said they would'nt make that mistake again, yet they give Diame a contract with a £3.5m buy out.
ReplyDeleteWe will never be able to buy a player of his quality for that money.
The player negotiated the clause and wouldn't sign unless it was written in.
DeleteAll 3 players can jog on, the most important thing for me is the colors Claret and Blue with the West Ham United Emblem emblazoned on our shirt, so for all you foreign money grabbing waste of timers out their, only bother coming here to Upton Park if you really want to play for our great club, we are not a stepping stone, for Man Utd, City or Arsenal. players come and go, so prats like you lot will easily be forgotten, and we will find other quality players to cheer on, hopefully English, as they know what it means to do their best in the premier league - Big Sam - Buy English, or bring more academy players through .......HammerDale22
ReplyDeleteAnon your a prick
ReplyDeleteI've just read diame wants to complaint against West Ham before FIFA. Really ? For what ? For giving him a spot on the starting 11 ?
ReplyDeleteSeems to me he has gone too far. If that info is correct, drop him all together out of the squad. Make him play with the reserves (although there is no such thing in England, I think you call that the development squard). He wants to play hardball, probably influenced by his shark agent because footballers are not known for their intellectual brightness. Fine. You disrespected the club and the group with your threats, off you go to the reserves. Don't wanna play there ? Sue him for breach of contract and fine him for indiscipline. We cannot afford that type of behaviour (nor the one Diarra has shown with his tumultuous comments in the press).
Ladies and gentlement, this is the type of profile player that got France in deep caca in the last world cup, with the famous insubordination. Remember how well France did then ?
We don't need that type of players.
Without Diame we are a relegation team. So, let's stop talking rubbish and make sure he is staying. He contribution to the team makes it fair that he earns a top salary. In addition, if he is stays at West Ham he will be a starter. At Arsenal or elsewhere most probably he will be warming the bench. These are the stuff we should be telling him to make him stay. Unless, of course, we think we can do it without him and collect a bucket of money by letting him go in January. Big mistake if we do that! Mark my words and I hope I am wrong!
ReplyDeleteSo Hammersfan, as it seems West Ham are struggling to hold on to their better players, how do you see the likely scenario of these departures playing out in terms of achieving your ambition for the season, namely, to avoid the drop?
ReplyDeleteDiame is pure class and when he was out injured west ham were truly awful and he would be a massive miss if he goes, typical west ham selling our best players as always will we ever learn.COYI
ReplyDelete00:27 The clause can be removed you if you make the player a strong initial contract offer. The Davids obviously offered him peanuts which is why he was able to negotiate a clause. And the fact that we as a club were in a stronger position because he wasn't even getting games at Wigan and other clubs like Liverpool did not want to take a chance on him, makes it more unbelievable that we were not able to remove the clause with a decent offer.
ReplyDeleteIt is truly worrying that they can continue to make such massive errors. This is up there with the Grant appointment. Have these guys really been in football most of their working lives? Shocking.
West spam = pub team.....taking hostages now too...wankers
ReplyDeleteCan you not see this is all newspaper talk hyping up so the reporters get paid more money for views. Willie McKay (Diame's agent) has had a history or fraudgelent behaviour and is doing everything he can to get himself more money by prolonging the signing. Also there have been no bids yet for Diame, if he was so amazing he would have gone by now. If he was unhappy there would be quotes from the player but I have seen none showing this except a brief interview where Diame says he was happy at the club and hopes to sign a new contract. Sorry for the essay, but keep your knickers on people.
ReplyDeleteI think every one need to remember Diames health, he need a defibrillator on the side line, which is why he is cheap, he is a risk. let him go to Arsenal, we have offerd him a better deal and he still wants out, get rid of him and sign M-villa. Who will be commited to the West Ham cause adn not his next pay check, we do not need Diame to stay up we need commited players, look at QPR great player no commitment and look where they are...
ReplyDelete'bone head route one football ' - sorry plonk, but that's not what I've seen over the boleyn this season.
ReplyDeleteat times we've played some attractive stuff.
as for the disgruntled ones, if they want to go, they will. no point in having players who don't want to be there.
as for nolan, he was 'class' in the championship, but he's a too often passenger in the pl.
as for more english players - what like slowcoach noble, or slowcoach tomkins ? no thanks
sam lardyce should play spence and potts with reid and demel on the bench.
flog all the dead stock - taylor, obrien -just given a 3 year extension contract ffs - oneill and the two-trick collins.
Talk about a rat abandoning a sinking ship, there's this wanker who couldn't get many comments on his own shitty little blog so he resorted to blogging in a "zany" and "crazy" way about other clubs particularly Leeds.
