All Hail Frank Lampard For Cracking The Brazil Nut

The guy just can't stop scoring! Ever since Chelsea indicated that they no longer wanted him, Lampard has scored goal after brilliant goal, and with his winner last night, he created just another little bit of history.

Sadly Fat Frank, as he is unaffectionately known, will never receive the credit he deserves down West Ham way, but after Moore and Peters, he surely has to be the best player the club has ever produced.

So many honours, so many goals - the guy truly is a phenomenon. Heading for the USA at the end of the season? Woy will hope not! I would love to see him back in a West Ham shirt, but sadly that will never happen.

Absolutely right I have never really understood the special level of vitriol saved for Frank. He left the club, as anyone with his talent would have, given that at no time has WHU been capable of delivering top club honours to its best players, as Brooking, Moore, Peters, Hurst etc discovered. We have been a two bob business from the off and the only slim chance we have of progressing to being likely contenders is if we move to the OS and don't make a hash of it. Even then we are talking years in the future before anything changes. Got to survive this season and next first of course.

  4. "Got a question that you would love to ask West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble?

"Your chance will come later this week, as the Hammers man will be taking part in a live Q&A session on Twitter on Friday!

We'll be sitting down with the 25-year-old after training and he will be answering the best of your questions live on the club's Official Twitter page.

If you are not already following us, then make sure you join the 139,000 who are, and keep looking out for a confirmed time for Noble's Q&A on Friday - use the #ASKNOBES hashtag to get those questions to us on the day."

  10. I never did understand the hatred aimed towards him. I was out of the country for the whole of his breakthrough season and so missed the start of it all.

when I got back I saw an exciting and extremely talented young player that had been completely vilified because his dad, who happened to be a club legend, was assistant manager and his uncle was the manager and so to some it smacked of nepotism. It didn't matter that he was clearly a quality prospect who was only going to get better with every game.

It was at that point I realized how ridiculous and clueless a large section of our fan base can be. A characteristic demonstrated on a daily basis by stani and sav with their embarrassing stance against noble. keep up the good work lads!

  13. Perhaps he's called 'fat frank' because the dozy 'fans' can't see that they have been mugged by the succession of 'business' giants that have this club since the Cearns tribe.Lampartd was and is an excellent player, whereas, compared to him a player like 'Nobes' is a pygmy. Poor Joe Cole must be ruing the day he returned too.

And somepone please enlighten me - what is a Pogatetz ? Some kind of eastern european assassin perhaps ?
