West Ham fans will be delighted if the reports prove to be true, but there is a huge difference between scoring goals in the Dutch league and the Premier League. Claims that he is the new Drogba are all very well, but until we see Premier League flesh on the bare bones of Eredivisie promise, we shouldn't get too carried away.

There's also a huge difference between us being reported/rumoured to be doing a deal with someone and them actually signing for us. I'll believe it when I see it.
His scoring record in the Dutch league is very impressive, but so was Kezmans before he joined Chelsea, and Alfonso Alves' before he joined Boro. Lets hope he adapts to the Prem better than those two!! Still, if its true, great ambition shown by the Chairmen, and great to see them looking to solve our goal scoring problem so early ahead of next season. Lets just hope he doesn't mind playing up top on his own if Allardyce is still here come August!!
What concerns me about this is he's 5 foot 9. How's that going to fit in with our style of play?
