Will we never learn? How many clapped out has beens looking for a soft landing into retirement have we signed? This season alone, we have taken on Diarra and Joe Cole. Now, we are being linked with Ambrosia Creamed Rice, a very good player in his day, but a player who has never been tempted to the Premier League...until now.
So why the sudden enthusiasm for a stint in England? Well no other team is going to meet his wage demands!
Meanwhile, the Romanian invasion is about to begin, just as UKIP predicted, with the arrival of Roland Rat.
World class player and a major improvement on oneil and collison
ReplyDeleteTotal bollox yet again Neville ... Get yourself back on the swings in la la land
DeleteTo be fair, Big Sam's "golden oldies" usually turn out to be a good bit of business. Remember Jay-Jay Okocha, Ivan Campo and Youri Djorkaeff?
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with planetman, Sam's had the best out of experienced players and I think he would definately improve our team, Ironz!!
ReplyDeleteSo you like the thought of other teams cast offs & not giving some of our academy players a chance seems nothing changes with who ever owns or manages West Ham we wait for end of season for the as beens & bargain bucket players to get there last big pay day before the retirement home well Mr Gold & Sullivan if you want to progress in Prem league you have to spend money oh I forgot you don't like doing that apart from 11 million on Jarvis who is not that great & the money cudve been spent better so come on let's have some quality in before the move to the OS as you've got to find 20000 fans from somewhere to fill it & if you keep signing pensioners the youth of today will go & support other clubs as many to choose from in London
ReplyDeleteAmbrosini would be f...ing excellent.
ReplyDeleteI know! Why don't you write a blog on Leeds United signing a player over 30 even though w,ham are doing precisely that too? You'll come out of it with bags of journalistic credibility and your thousands of readers will realise that you really know what you're talking about.
ReplyDeleteI think I trust the judgement of someone who has played and coached at the top level as opposed to someone sitting on a computer.
ReplyDeleteLooks like we've agreed £15m fee for Carroll. Rather have Bony at that price to be honest.
ReplyDeleteRat's signed so hopefully that'll finally be left back sorted
There's nothing wrong with one or two players like this in a squad. The problem is that we are in danger of getting the balance wrong and having practically a whole team of players who won't see 30 again. All the while our talented young players watch the years tick past without being given a chance.
ReplyDelete19:15 we might have agreed it buy has andy?
